even if it was yesterday I have to say I fully support the debunking of ridiculous claims such as those, and I wholeheartedly agree with her method of doing so.

semi-related: Rush Limbaugh made the claim that the volcanic activity in Iceland was God's punishment for the passage of the health care reform bill, one of the many problems I have with that statement is that if God really wanted to mete out punishment for a bill designed to increase the quality/availability of health care in the U.S. why would he choose a method that was concentrated around a different continent?
