- How am I marketing myself? Your post was poorly formatted and misspelled, this reflects badly on you. Would you do business with a bank that communicated to you this way?

Everything has been done, so you need to come up with something pretty special if you want to succeed and attract smart, high earning models. Perhaps you should link us to your site, ask more specific questions and consider hiring a PR company.

We get a lot of people in here looking for advice on startups, and willingness to LISTEN and consider advice from experienced people in the industry is very important.

thank you for u replay well as i said i'm dutch webmaster , so english is not my native lenguage , and dutch olso is not the one becouse i was born in chile, but well i understand what u are saying, and well if it was a bank ,mmm we do have a bank in holland that was made by famers and is one of the biggest (rabobank), but ok i understand well the program here pay's 0,1785 euro a minut that is 10.71euros a hour and , yeah i need to learn olso to progress like you girls do to.

This is a forum where most people speak English. Therefore, if you want to do business with English speaking people, please learn English or hire someone who does speak it to communicate for you.
Also, Im sure the farmers who started that bank use SOME kind of sentence structure in their communications. No one cares who started the business, it all matters how you present yourself. Im pretty sure Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese use punctuation marks and capitalize their sentences.
Please excuse me for MY poor language right now, as Ive had a few drinks but right now your biggest obstacles are communication and image. Thats my advice to you as a model:

1) Find a way to communicate effectively in multiple languages
2) Look professional

Just because this is a very casual industry, image still matters!

Many of us are used to having the ability to have many people watching us at the same time, thus making our hourly rate fluxuate. If you're saying that you guarantee a payout of 10 euro per hour paid by your site, plus any additional tips/spending that comes from the viewers, then that's GREAT, but if not, there are probably not many girls on this forum who would take that offer.

Girls on MFC, Streamate, Cams.com, Xpeeps, etc., can make multiple times that amount in an hour. And the majority of models at this forum are working for those sites currently.

I also second and third the advice given above about getting a PR person to make public posts for you if you can't speak properly in the language of the audience you're trying to interact with. Otherwise, staying on sites that are in your native land/language may be a better idea for you. Grammar/punctuation/spelling are important to prospective employees/contractors as they like to think their site owner/operator is professional and educated. While you do seem very friendly and sweet, the way you write makes you sound less professional and educated than you may actually be.

i'm dutch...
the Netherlands has one of the best filled and affiliated webcamsite community in europe.
this means all the big sites like webcamsex.nl and such are working together, and even offer international models.
all the bigger sites pay girls a 0,30 eurocent per minute minimum (per 1 costumer) = 18 euro's per hour
starting another one imo is risky, the ones that excist now have so much exposure on television, i don't think you will succeed on getting an independent site working with profit.

besides all the business issues, your language barriere is a big issue with starting a website, of any kind.
dutch isn't your native language, english isn't, and if you don't know how to structure text in a way thats appealing to people who visit a site, you will end beeing considered shifty and vague

i wouldn't know any girls who would sign up for that, and end up bringing your site profit.
get a spokesperson first, worry about girls next

but webcamsex.nl is from xmodels i have one model there and she get's only 0,18 per min , does this inprove over time as u get more clients or u mean went they go super private and pay 4 times the amount a min,like on a nother dutch provider, it's cool now with this new feature u can watch and call the cam girl , this earns you twise as mutch becouse the clients pay dubbel,

sorry that i dont sound profecional and yeah i try to ba a sweet guy,and well to progress like a webmaster and camstudio u don't need to b hard with them but i understand what u mean about, that if a cam model considerd working for me then they need to feel secure and not try to cheat on any way , that's why i came to u forum to learn , becouse i'm in a dutch adultwebmaster forum and well they have there opinion about how to do stuff but some times don't lisen to client needs or the cam girls needs and i'm tring to take all info and work something good out of it

ps:to all girls here i speak spanish,dutch,english but write it like crap, except dutch do ,and they say i'm dislectic to but enought with the excuse and thanks for replying

i almost applied a few years ago.. and thats what they told me... 0,18 cents sounds like a huge rip off!
maybe the way to set yourself apart is to start a webcamsite with a payment base like mfc does.. if people pay you.. you get paid.. if they dont.. you wont..
i'm sure thats a really different concept for the netherlands.. but if you work that out, it could just be the next best thing!
you could however, offer the first 100-200 models a sign up bonus.. just an idea
