body {
background-color: #;
background-position: top left;
background-attachment: fixed;
background-repeat: repeat;
}

background-attachment set to fixed.

There is an option all ready available in the customizing portion. I forgot where exactly it is, but I used it years ago without having to do any special coding, it's in the options somewhere. Not much help, but I don't want to go back fiddling around to find it right now but it's there somewhere.

Yup, I was just about to say. It's on the Customize Profile page, and I'd take a screen shot to help out future thread readers if I wasn't using custom CSS.

FWIW, I really don't like this technique. It's extremely difficult to pull off well. For one, not everyone browses with the same size browser, so what looks good to you looks really crappy to someone else. Furthermore, the colors in the background often clash with the selected text color, especially when you start to scroll the profile.

Beyond that, it just has a real Geocities/Myspace feel to it. I'm much more likely to quickly close a profile using something like this than attempt to read it.
