There is a warning going around about a premium member recording and selling videos of models on various sites. At the minute this is circulating around twitter, among the UK models, as far as I'm aware it isn't directly aimed at anyone else. The member has been quoted as wanting to bring down all the models and is apparently on a "mission" to destroy them.

This accusation has come from a model who I know of but have never actually spoken to. However the member in question has been a regular in my room for over a year. I have found videos of me posted on the web numerous times so immediately took the model's word for it and cut all contact with this member.

I now think I was wrong, I shouldn't have believed what the model said just because she's a model and I think other models that don't know the member will believe the same thing. It made me realise just how naive I had been yet again, for me MFC is pretty much a learning curve, bad stuff happens and I learn from it.

I guess what I'm hoping to get out of this post is to know that I'm not the only one who gets suckered into thinking every model is going to be nice etc when in actual fact that's not true at all.

No offense to the member in question, but just because he's been a member in your room for a year doesn't man he wouldn't record & upload something you've done...what made you think the accusations might be wrong?

Don't beat yourself up too much. We've all been victims of rumours or bad advice or mistaken identity and have trusted the wrong people, and we'll all likely do it again. Take a deep breath and move on.

It's hard to know if the model was intentionally steering you wrong, or if she herself was fed bad information or, as can happen easily on MFC, someone playing broken telephone got the member's name wrong by a letter or two. And as Frankie says, it could have been that guy. You may never find out, either.

Nikki, there are all kinds of people at MFC and other sites that will record any and all that they have the ability to. As much as we try to trust each other, there are some that will say anything to get your trust, not just the models.

Need to stay aware of what you are doing in your room and make sure you don't have a problem with what you are doing being discovered by anyone that you may know. Even in private shows there is no guarantee that it will stay just between you and the person doing the private.

Not always naive about what is going on, just be wary of what you are doing and who you are doing it for. :twocents-02cents:

Frankie, I don't know for sure obviously, it was more of a realisation that I probably can't trust what either of them says.

I think that's really great advice, I have read other threads on videos been shared and I believe if I post myself on the internet then I have to be prepared for everything that comes with that.

Since members can spy for 20 tkns a minute and, according to a recent thread on "scooping", even less, unless you are in a true private with your mom, you should always assume that someone will record whatever happens in a private, and that if they decide to, they can make it public.

I'd look into it more before making your final judgement. It might be tedious, but if you're looking for a way to justify your actions then gaining more insight would be helpful! You can personally ask the model where she got the information and to point you in the right direction since you fear you may be a victim.

I am taking a page from Amber's book and I'd like to spread her wisdom. I found myself on xhamster and it was actually one of my older BJ/deepthroat vids from xtube. I made an acct there and pointed people toward where the real action happens! However, this is only if this is what you want. I have accepted that my vids are going to pop up and I can't catch 'em all (pornomon!), but I'll fight the ones worth fighting...i.e. if I discover that I'm being pimped out on a bestiality site.

Anyway, you asked about stories of naivety and I have one! It was another model, too. She chatted me up in my room one day and introduced herself. I thought this was nifty since I was new and assumed that she was in the forums (I got the names mixed up, so the girl in the forums is actually not the model who was messaging me). She had minions who would come in and say things like, "Oh I was just in ______'s room and so hot!" It didn't bother me at first and I always found ways to relate things back to me. Well, one day she showed up during my cooking show and seemed to be cool. All of a sudden she says, "Well, I'm bored. I would never do a cooking show. I may be back....maybe". Which did unfortunately ruined the mood. I was naive in that I did not recognize the pattern of model and minions entering and talking about her.
Le sigh.

So no worries. Like you said, it's a learning curve! It sucks sometimes, doesn't it? You're in good company :)
