just curious, how long does the MFC contract last?

There's no contract, as far as time limit goes. The legal stuff is all about how they own your live cam feed and all that jazz. You can quit whenever you want to, and they can ban you whenever they want to.

I guess better wording would be how long do the terms of the contract last, I am pretty clueless on legal stuff, but don't contracts have to expire after a while?

As far as I understand, if a contract doesn't have a start date or an end date then it would be understood that it starts immediately and ends indefinitely UNLESS something is violated OR a party is allowed an "open ending" which the MFC contract is an open contract, like a month to month lease. As long as both parties are happy then the business relationship continues.

One thing to look at tho, some studio's add a no compete clause in the contract that keeps a model from working at mfc using another studio for 3 months. Not sure how that would affect a model that works from home tho.

If a model works from home, but uses a studio as an agency, they'll still get a time-out. Mind you, in EE, things are not like here. Studios are largely controlled by OC and they can be very persuasive when it comes to maintaining model loyalty.
