Right now there is a petition going on to permanently shut down [site name banned*3].com
Some of you may enjoy being posted on that site while others do not want to be posted on the site. [site name banned*3] gives you the option to report posts and they say they will "take them down" but we all know this NEVER happens. We make a report and then nothing is done about it.
The petition to shut down [site name banned*3] only needs 560 more signatures. You can sign this and share it with friends and fellow cam models. Lets work together to get this site shut down.

This site is not just harrassing cam models, but also underaged girls, moms, daughters, sisters, ALL women pretty much. Guys are using this site as a way to black mail girls into doing things they would not normally do.

Here is the link to change.org where you can read the petition for more information or if youre ready to sign it now, you can make your signature anonymous if you dont want your name shown as a signer.
560 more signatures is nothing, we can do it if we all take a minute out of our day to sign and share this link.

I hate that site as much as the next girl, BUT.

The site should be dealt with on the grounds of copyright infringement or by using images they don't own the rights to.

To claim 'child porn and women endangerment' gets sketchy. I haven't seen anybody who looks underage on there myself - and if you took down this site, you'd also have to take down ANY site where 17 year olds post pictures of their boobs. It might not be cool, but we have to handle it really carefully. I don't think there's any hardcore child porn on there. And the way she handles talking about it in the petition is ridiculous:

"Most of the girls who become exposed by the men on these threads are 15-18 years old. How do I know? My city has a thread. I have female friends that are pictured on there, and I'm working to get them off of it. I'm working to stop this invasion of privacy that none of these girls asked for. And ultimately, I'm working to end this website's proliferation of child pornography."

She claims child pornography exists here based on 'I have some friends on there.' wut. That is an incredibly shitty evidence to have, especially when claiming the website is 'proliferated' with it. A few users put up content of people under 18 - SHUT DOWN THE SITE!

And secondly, women endangerment? They are not violating our rights by posting pictures of women and making fun of them. Reacting by trying to forcibly remove their site is a violation of THEIR rights - and we should respect rights even if they make us uncomfortable.

And thirdly, blackmailing. This is a user-based thing, and we should be dealing with the user, not the site. It might seem simpler to get rid of the site in its entirety, but we have to remember that nothing justifies infringing on the rights of someone who has done no wrong. The blackmailer has done wrong. The site hasn't.

Also I have issues with the petition itself. For one, they use language that reminds me very strongly of religious outrage. "disgusting," "immorality," highly emotionally influenced words that indicates some sort of unchecked moral rampage. The entire thing isn't thought out and the author has a personal connection to the situation. I don't trust it and I think we should slow down and think about what we're doing with this thing.

Just want to make it clear that I am not the author of the petition. I am simply sharing the petition. I am not saying whether [site name banned*3] is right or wrong. Nor am I saying the petition is right or wrong. I am simply sharing it for those of you who wish the site would shut down.

As far as copyright and sending [site name banned*3] dmca notices, it doesn't work. They do not care about copyrights. They say they will remove things but never do, even when you dmca them.

I think the women endangerment is from posting pictures of women & girls, and then sharing their personal information? I can see that being potentially endangering. Certainly it seems to encourage harassment.

Again that falls on the user rather than the site, I suppose. Do websites not have legal responsibilities regarding content? Like if I uploaded something illegal here and Amber was hosting it, would she get in trouble?

I'm not a frequenter of that site, so I can't say - but I did go through about 15 full pages and I saw no personal information. There are explicit rules stated on the top of each sub that say 'no last names, personal information, links to their social media, etc.' There might be rampant information sharing, but if there is I didn't find the sub for it.

Well [site name banned*3] has an abuse page where you are able to report illegal/personal/or copyrighted content that has been posted on the site. They SAY they will take it down, but they dont. And I think that is where the site becomes at fault along with the user who makes the post. The site has "rules" but they dont even follow their own rules?
Im not sure what kind of legal rights a site has when it comes to users posting illegal/copyrighted material. I would assume that the site has responsibilities to monitor their site and make sure to take proper procedure to keep their site as well as the users on their site from sharing these types of posts.

For example, I posted [site name banned*3]'s link and ACF deleted the link because that link has been banned from this site, so that right there tells me she is doing her part in keeping her site and forums clean.

I agree with you on the endangerment part, I believe it is when people start sharing personal information.

Like I said, I am not the author of the petition, I just wanted to share it. And I dont plan to sit and argue whether you should agree with the petition or not. Im not here to debate about it, I just wanted to share the information in case anyone would find it helpful :)

The site is actually down right now, coincidentally. I looked around there before, but there are better places to get porn on the internet. If people really want to get the site shutdown they should report legitimate underage porn when they see it to the authorities.

I find a lot of it in the "win by state" section or whatever it's called.
They can post the entire first name and the last initial there, along with the city that the girls live in.
For a "normal" person who doesn't cam and such, they're not gonna have their facebook locked down and will be easy to find just from that information alone.

Is this petetion really going to help shut it down
Considering this thread is nearly a year old and the site is still up.... Hmm.

Is there any thing anyone can do about shutting that sure down

History tells us that if it is shut down they just pop back up later as something else. Ex. Napster. How many places can you now freely download music from? Tons. Theres already tons of places like this site and theyre just as bad if not worse who ignore take down requests too. It's nearly impossible to shut them all down and the FBI has more important things to do really.

Yeah, I debated this with a model last year - she'd been the subject of a thread on there that ran for five months without result. Eventually we both just reached the conclusion that it was much better to have them all in the thread that we knew about, rather than have them spread out across the internet.

Don't get me wrong, the site was absolutely wretched with regards to its use for stalking purposes and in at least one case, leading to a 15 year-old getting into trouble after people from her school found her nudes, but ultimately it's not the site that's the problem. It's the assholes that use it to stalk and harass girls simply because they're unwilling to pay five fucking dollars o see her naked on the internet. Taking the site down would not have solved the issue, just moved it around a bit.

And yeah, that was all they'd have had to do. In five months time not one of these morons came up with the idea to just pay the 50 okens so they could get into the password show...

In this virtual insanity, these guys seem to worry more about a different type of police: Google.

The site was (kind of) killed, but not by any law enforcement. Google did the job. They deindexed the site and it lost a lot of traffic overnight. The owner created a thread on Google help forums to understand what he did wrong  This has affected his "business" to a point that he had to take actions. The site is still banned from Google though. But I would be a fool to think that this has solved the problem.

When I search "[site name banned*3]" on google, it's the first result.

Well, that's because it's an specific search query that has pretty much one 'best' result, which is the site itself. Now if you were searching with non-specific terms (for example, 'model_X recorded show' or '$someone_I_know naked', etc, etc) those results from [site name banned*3] would be pushed way down compared to the rest of the results.

I didn't want to mention this in my original post. What you find on Google is the new site, not the original one. As Google didn't lift the ban, the owner moved the site to a new domain. The new domain is very similar to the old domain, and he did this on purpose so anyone searching for the old site could find the new site. This was the action the owner had to take to go around the ban. And that's why I said banning the site didn't solve the problem. It's a whack a mole game.
