I'm not exactly sure how they manage to make the video of the French woman convincing? I have wondered into camshows where there is a video running and the model responds only through typed chat. It becomes obvious what's going on after just a minute or so.
This reminds me of when, about 6 months ago my e-mail site was corrupted for a day or so, buy a bot pop-up. It was a fairly elaborate program that posed as a lonely dame who wanted to chat. Right from the start this bot dame started working toward the hook, and when it was rebuffed it made a small detour and then tried to go at it from a different angle. I played with it for a while until I got bored. It was pretty convincing if you stuck to only answering its questions. It had been programmed to respond to all the common answers, and ask the next leading question. When asked, "your just a bot, arm't you?" It responded, "A bot, I don't know what you mean" When asked if it was a tricycle, it responded in the same manor, but when asked if it was a scam, a fake, (and I think I tried A con) it answered, "No I am not a fake, why would you call me that, are you trying to be mean?" These may not be exact word for word, but it was this elaborate, and I remember well it asking me if I was trying to be mean, everytime I questioned its character. I suppose it's a #'s game, - if you can run it on thousands of ppl and you can get 1 in 1000 to give up the info, than it is worth running. What is most sad is that these scams pray on the feeble minded, (to include, drunk, drunk and lonely, etc...)
If was to get drawn into this cam blackmail scam, the only reason I would consider paying, is because I wouldn't want anyone to know I was a sucker. But it would be a waist of their time b/c even that would not compel me to pay. Ruin my life, yea go ahead and steal my identity too  I'd wonder where you were coming from if that's an upgrade
