Hi all,

No idea if this is the place to do it but we are a new crypto-based website who will pay per upvote for pictures ( soon video clips) . We are sort of like a reddit style website , but instead we've tokenized the upvote process. Right now our token is hovering around 0.05 cents per token and on avg. the girls are getting 150-200 tokens per post ( between $5-10 ) . We think by year end we can get the token up to 50 cents. There is a lot of potential in this and wanted to put this offer out here. Thanks everyone!

Edit: I should have put the website! https://www.dporn.co is the website so you can see how it all works. I'll send a registration link to anyone who wants to join. Thanks!

Hi Miss_lollipop thanks for the response and great questions.

We have what we can a down vote account which will snatch away their rewards. We also have a "mute" account which will nuke the account if there is continuous abuse. Right, all accounts are anon. it uses blockchain technology and it costs a fee to register ( unless you want to wait 2 weeks ) , but we can get you in for free . Our TOS can be found here.

So the way the economics works is the content creator takes 75 % of the rewards , the people curating the content get 25% so there is incentive for them to invest in the tokens and upvote your content. They get a ROI for doing so. Basically, they can get paid to look at your pictures and videos. We have a stake of certain amount of tokens that we hope will go up in value as more content is added so that is our way to make money. We take no cut of what you earn, you keep 100%. These are all great questions .

U might want to up the age limit to 18 in your TOS... it says 13???

I dont like the idea that ppl can be paid to post pics they steal of me. :/ I know it happens everywhere .. but this just seems like ppl could really fuck w this.

The TOS mentions a privacy policy but no link?

Thanks for the quick responses

Our's is 18 obviously. We are clone of the Steem blockchain. Meaning when they enter in site they are verified at 18. They can have an account on the STEEM blockchain at 13 but to be inside our blockchain it's 18 + .
You bet! thanks for the response.

How does your site attract members? I don't see how you convince a member to go to your site verse others. You don't even have anything that would imply porn on your frontpage outside of the site name. Getting a member to sign up with so many unknowns AND give you a CC is a huge burden of trust to overcome. You're basis yourselves around reddit while reddit still exists. It's the why use, 'like google' instead of google itself?

Also your terms of service have NO customer protections what so ever. You do realize models aren't all perfect and honest people, some run scams and all sites offer some method of reimbursement in these situations.

Also the way you control the STEEM account you're putting yourself in the same position paypal does, where they can close and claim all the money in that account 'at will'. You literally OWN the money itself which is a massive red flag.

Hi Smusers69,

Thanks for the response. Right now we just opened up by we are associated with the user base of STEEM which has over 50,000 active members. We pull most of our members from there. Reddit isn't going anywhere we are just saying if want to post pictures and videos you can receive crypto in return. No, there is noway to close the accounts so we aren't like paypal at all. You own your own account and there isn't way to shut down your account down or our account even.

But all good questions. Thanks!

Hello Lintilla,

Yes, you can log in with your Steemit credentials. It brings in via tags to one area correct. We haven't enabled our tube version of the site yet but shortly will be doing so. So right now you can earn both STEEM/SBD crypto and PORN crypto . It's sort of double dipping

Thanks for the response.

This is the first time I'm hearing about steemit.

First thought was is Steemit a Ponzi Scheme, or maybe a Pyramid Scheme?

Bitcointalk has a 1520 post debate if Steemit is a scam.

Medium describes it as:
  • classic pyramid scheme, where the founders and very early adopters are making A LOT
  • you only make money off your content for the first 7 days
  • it’s super susceptible to the same free speech problems that Facebook and Youtube
  • D.Tube takes a 25% cut of your Steemit earnings
  • they are NOT actually making the amount of money that appears so conspicuously there underneath their articles
  • a race to the bottom to become a quintessential content farms where the system is just being gamed by the cheaters.
Busy
  • 46 accounts hold 64.51% of Steem Power
  • For every 1 unit of wealth generated as a reward (author, curation, witness, etc), 9 units of wealth are generated and distributed to Steem Power holders
  • top wealthy users receive most of the newly generated wealth without contributing any kind of value
  • The only difference to a pyramid scheme is, 10% of the generated tokens are distributed as a show to lure in new investors.

There is plenty that disagree with what is written about Steem above. There are individual's who hate Steem and wrote many times about it because who knows why they hate it ( lost a lot of money via investing ) nobody knows why they go on rants. You can find someone who has an opinion on anything these days but most do it without any facts. The question is what are the real facts.

Steem is considered the a top crypto currencies in the world right now based on technology, development and community. The only crypto that allows you to build communities on it. Dozens of communities like ours are being built on it like a creative community plus many others.

Here is a list of news on it:

Alt-coins to watch in 2020

Ranked #5 by Weiss Ratings

More importantly it's ranked a A + from Coinmarketcap the largest tracker of crypto tokens . If it's a scam its doing a horrible job as a scam:

Again, I'm not here to convince anyone to join Steem , I was just pointing out there is this project I'm doing built on it and if anyone is interested go check it out and since everyone here are adults and they can make their own decisions at the end of the day if it's good or bad for them to join.

Thanks.

edit: I figured I'd answer this since I'm here since a lot of this is old news:
  • classic pyramid scheme, where the founders and very early adopters are making A LOT
Not really sure this is the case. Any early adopters deserve what they get. They got in early.
  • you only make money off your content for the first 7 days
You do get paid every 7 days on the post
  • it’s super susceptible to the same free speech problems that Facebook and Youtube
There is noway for your post to be taken down that is the whole point of blockchain.
  • D.Tube takes a 25% cut of your Steemit earnings
Not anymore and I don't think it was ever 25% . They have their own token now that is on the Steem blockchain.
  • they are NOT actually making the amount of money that appears so conspicuously there underneath their articles
They are making that money that is under that amount. It just split up between Steem power and liquid rewards. So no that isn't true.
  • a race to the bottom to become a quintessential content farms where the system is just being gamed by the cheaters.
    Not idea what this means.

I think the writers point is the top posts are often spending their 'profit' on gaming the system.

In a pyramid scheme, money comes from the new 'investors'.
The new money is then distributed top down. As in the people at the top get most of the money.

Where is steemit money coming from? Based on what I've read, it sounds like the majority of new money is coming from new users.
And if Busy is right, it sounds like 46 accounts are getting a majority of the profit, 90%. of the profit.

You can buy upvotes on reddit, you can go on any system if given the chance ( I could buy advertising here ) and "game" the system for profits its a free market.

>Where is steemit money coming from?

Investors ? People buy Steem to Power up SP. 90 % would only getting the profit if they were selling or writing posts they don't. If it gets distributed amongst users via upvotes. Most of their power is in Steem Power isn't liquid till they power down. They keep it and upvote the content they like, but into services like the one I'm doing. It shows they have no interest in cashing out as a "pyramid scheme" like you are claiming. So what is the coinmarket ranking about? It's literally the gold standard for crypto currency if it was a ponzi it wouldn't be given a A it doesn't make any sense?

If I sign up as a content creator and make posts, what's to prevent another user from copying any and everything I post and profiting from it? Maybe I'm not understanding how the system works.

Good question Melanieoncam. First they will get downvoted ( loose rewards and rep. if they do that - makes the post invisable ) and of course you will be labled verified they won't so people won't upvote it to begin with once they see it.

I would genuinely like to see you try buying advertising here and try and game the system for profits.

Well I'm buying to get exposure it's no different then buying an upvote to gain exposure. to the post You call it gaming most call it advertising. ( I call it advertising for clarification )

No you called it gaming, you even put game in quotation marks in the post that you made which I quoted. Also when you advertise on Ambercutie, are you going to use body paint, stickers or have her dress up in some silly costume and spin a sign?

No, I was quoting it from what the person was saying. I never called it "gaming". I'm saying it isn't gaming. Lol, spin a sign and dress up good one! That would be pretty funny touche!

You are aware that OP means Original Poster as in the one who made the thread, which would be you?
Yes, I edited it I meant the person I was replying to at the time. It was Lelo1 - they said they were using their profits to "game" the system. Looking back at it that makes no sense.

By the way, was this the same forum skeptical of Bitcoin ? LOL loved how that turned out its over $10,000 dollars per token.

'This same forum' questions everything about a new business that comes here and advertises. When you come here and advertise your business you have to be prepared to get asked every single question there is about it, in a professional manner. Because people here have experience in this industry and have seen many sites come and go,. You don't seem to have all the infos straight and I don't think you have the right attitude. LOL somewhere else.

Also it wasn't that we were skeptical of crypto, it was that majority of us want to be paid in normal money that doesn't fluctuate in value from minute to minute.

Well, let's be fair that one you got wrong for sure and no I won't LOL somewhere else.

Oh that old argument I figured we had move beyond this one ... I guess Bitpay/coinbase isn't in business because of it lol ...

Being snarky with your responses to legitimate questions and concerns won’t win anyone over and make them want to use your site. As said before, anytime there’s a new site trying to make a buck off of sex worker’s work, there will be questions asked.

All the offputting responses aside, this site still seems iffy at best. You said that if stolen content gets posted the perpetrator will just get “downvoted”. And that people won’t upvote posts made from unverified accounts (which I’m curious is that a default or are you just assuming people won’t do it even though they would still have the ability to?) What is the verification process for content creators? And what’s the incentive for members to use this site as opposed to just seeing stuff on Twitter or Reddit (both of which have a massive user base) or just subscribing to their favorite creator’s Membership site like Onlyfans or Patreon?

"We prefer to be paid this way" is not a reason to argue. It's a preference. Chill...
