MFC added something new..

When posting links in the lounges, a small quickpreview screencap image appears as a thumbnail beside the model link.

Also appears at top beside the models avater if clicking on model in your friends list

Yeah, its on the homepage too, if you click menu on a model's avatar and brings up the info and pics it also shows a real time screen cap of what the model is doing in her room. I just clicked back and they are re-loaded pretty often...

But.. I would like to see along the bottom a text overlay over the image showing Date / Time / model roomname and copyright myfreecams.com

Does anyone know if the country block and the ban system is applied on this?

I really like this too I think I have even found my room to be busier today...don't know if it is coincidence, but if someone wouldn't necessarily jump in your room for whatever reason but they see an interesting real time screen cap then its all good in my book! Keeps us on our toes not to veg out too lol *I have to dance/pose for the screen caps!*

There's also a lounge options thing now. so you can disable the feature if you want.
Also no preview pic when in group or private. All around very cool feature

But MFC should watermark their content. Not just private archives.

At the same time, the region block may not be working. There's at least 2 models who had me blocked before who I'm seeing today.

It is open to abuse for content thieves as mentioned even guest can access these "clean" screenshots.

Look in friends list pop up their info panel see avater top left and ""live"shot next to it click the live shot then right click and get the image source, paste that link into a new tab

You now have a source of easy to save images just right click and save the jpg. Just refresh the page when you want some new ones.

This is a great idea for MFC to impose...
However, before adding more features and content, wouldn't it be more prudent to upgrade the speed, the bandwidth, the quality of the overall site performance first? What's the point of adding features, if it keeps crashing anyways? Just my outlook.

And guys will only "crop" the logo or text out anyways. Look on most videos recorded from MFC and you'll notice the speaker icon was even cropped out from the bottom.

I do believe STRONGLY that MFC should upgrade the security protocols by all means, but not at the risk of making the site slower, even if just in concept.

Another thing... Since MFC-TV disappeared, Leo has been focused on preventing piracy of the videos. Which is a good thing. I've actually submitted DMCA claims to RapidShare and FileTube to have videos deleted of my model friends.

The thing is, just as everything in the digital World, if someone makes a device or software, someone is out there "hacking" it or pirating it. MS Windows, iPhone, Blackberry and others have all had security issues exploited just THIS YEAR. Nothing will ever be 100% fool-proof.

With that said, I think MFC should concentrate on performance issues and that will bring MORE customers with LESS CRASHES and a more enjoyable experience... THEN, work on security issues.

My 2 cents... Spend it wisely. lol
