There is a new page on the wiki with DMCA info for models, I think every model should read it.

I find this page interesting because it claims that models retain the copyright to their content. This is different than what is repeatedly said on here.

as owners of the content and copyright, only models themselves have a right to submit a DMCA notice. Models may elect to temporarily grant MFC an exclusive license to their content so that we may send DMCA takedown notices for it.

Amber - your DMCA stickie thread is locked so I couldn't reply there, but you'll want to update that post.

I have difficulty finding exactly what the most recent model contract is. But the last one I saw the models gave up all copyright claims to streamed content. Granting MFC a license for the stream content would be a big improvement. Any recent models want to post the contract..

I was unaware that this was option.

Including Personal Information

Keep in mind that DMCA notices you send are often made public record on sites such as https://www.chillingeffects.org/.

Therefore, to protect your privacy, we encourage you to not use your birth name or physical address, or your primary e-mail address, when sending a DMCA notice. You may instead use a legal alias and a new e-mail you create for this purpose.

There may have been recent changes to the model contract, I'm not sure either, but yes previously we all signed away the copyright to our image while it was on an MFC stream. I'll figure out the best way to update previous threads about it now that we have an official wiki update from MFC.
