Models and member cams

So, this came up in a thread about Skype payment, and I thought it might be neat to get a view of the ACF models, even if they just want to remain anonymous and answer the poll but make no public statement.

Now, to elaborate: This doesn't mean just watching guys whack off. It just means in general, even if the member (not all members are male) is just sitting there being his/her normal self. And a more private setting would equal group or private or true private (exclusive on some sites). Specific payment would obviously mean tokens or gold or however the site the model is working for does it.

Apparently, I know a disproportionate amount of models who actually like watching cams, from what some models mentioned in that other thread. Some even watch members they know (regulars) in public chat, or specifically PM certain members to turn their cams on so they can also have someone to watch. Out of all the models I frequently hang out with on MFC, only one says she never watches cams, ever.

I know I can't stop non-models from answering the poll, but I'd like it if the model answers came from models. Even if they don't wish to say anything about their reasons in public. There are three answers for members if they wish to mention how often they have their cams on.

Me, I have my cam on a lot. Sometimes I forget to turn it off when I fall asleep even. :lol: There's a pic of me sleeping in the thread about member cams funny cute, etc. thread. I don't mind when models watch me, in public or private. Some models ask me to turn my cam on when I am online when they are. Then again, I've been on webcams since the late 90's, back when having high speed internet was very rare. So I'm hardly shy about being on cam. But, not everyone has been using webcams as long as I have.

Obviously, everyone is different in their cam viewing and usage, but it might be a neat thing to see how we view our own cam usage/watching.

well until my damn old ass computer friend the input for it i only used my cam for skypeing with friends and family anyway really. i mean on mfc if someone asked me to i would. (for some reason people that i talk to a lot in pms want to know what i look like) i think maybe 5 times i've been asked to cut it on and it stayed on longer than a minute or two. video is a bandwidth hog so i never really wanted it on.

I like being able to see member's cams. However, while I like the personal connection of member cams, I don't want to open a cam to just see a cock in my face. At least ease up to that please!

That being said, I don't look at them randomly in public chat, but I will in private.

I dont mind watching cams.

When doing privates if a member wants to have his on thats fine. Of course there are going to be guys that are less than attractive (to me, everyone has different tastes) but even if Im not attracted, knowing that the guy is enjoying my show just makes them that much better for the member. I think everyone performs better when theyre not wondering if what theyre doing is visually pleasing.

As for public chat, I wont watch someone jerking it. Not even for tips. Its an unnecessary distraction and not something Im particularly interested in, lol.

I have turned on regulars cams in public chat when theyre just hanging out (clothed, lol) and to me thats fun. I enjoy seeing who Im talking to rather than just text. Its not something I do often though.

I really like watching cams

At any given moment while I'm in free-chat, I will probably have 4 cams open, up to 8 cams during weekends. It's easier interacting with my guys and more entertaining for me, then just watching scrolling text of different colors. These are cams of my regulars, people that take the time to come in my room, every day and say hello and keep me cheery while I have a countdown up. I have a small number of people in my room, all regulars, so I have no problem keeping up with the chat & the cams.

It actually became sort of a room thing, everybody on my friend list knows that once they step into my room, they have to have their cam on ...we even found a name for it "the contract", which also stipulates that they are allowed to fap only after I finish my countdown :-D

I will not watch the "hi bb, my cam is open for you" type of crowd though.

I only show my webcam to a handful of models and I use the Allowed Viewers option which limits who sees me. When I do show my cam, it is either in private or Skype anyway. The times I request the cam to be turned on is normally when I want someone to see me for the first time or I am doing something for entertainment purposes like wearing a funny hat, etc.

I really dislike putting a face with the person. Oddly, it makes me very uncomfortable, especially if he's masturbating. I'd rather know you on a chat basis. So, some interesting replies, and votes.

So far, it looks like (assuming only models are answering the model questions) the models that have answered like watching cams more than those who don't. Members are also split in their answers evenly.

Some interesting things to see in the comments, too.

JJ brought up the point of watching cams isn't exactly easy on MFC. As far as I am aware, it involves opening a PM window for the model, so on laptops with small screens, this could be a pain. JJ also finds that cams throw off her normal routine.

CharlieKat likes to picture members on her own terms, I suppose like reading a book and picturing the characters in your head.

Jordan likes the dynamic of seeing her regs, with the caveat that there is to be no wanking until she's done whatever countdown she has in place and is playing, herself, too.

Lacie and Ana may turn on regulars' cams, in public, provided no fapping is happening. And I find with some of the models who turn my cam on at random, this is their normal thing, too, they watch regulars' cams, but unless they specifically are looking for someone getting off, they don't want to see it when they are in public-- and they'll tell the people they want it or just hide or turn off their cams-- other models are just pervs, themselves. :lol:

Carina brings up a point that I assumed would be the general consensus, but keeping it between the member and the model if she is going to open up the member cam in public.

Megan will watch in public for payment, due to the possibility of being distracted. I could find this to be a thing for many models, though, being distracted by a cam while in public chat. And I already knew Megan watches in private-- which is being paid for, anyway.

Charlie likes them in private, but would prefer if the member wasn't a complete slob. :lol: Ana also mentioned she likes them in private, to help her know the member is enjoying the private.

Members seem to be in the only if asked or private, or not on cam very much. Again, I may be odd since I have been on cams for years, anyway.

Technically, Windows and Macs should have a 'generic USB webcam' setting. But, truth be told, I tried using that with an old as shit cam on my old as shit Windows laptop, and it didn't work.

But, unlike you two, I don't mind my picture being taken... but, ironically, I don't have many pictures of myself, unless it is with a group of friends when we're out or something.
