USA can be a little hit or miss with their TV series. I do appreciate that they are really willing to try new things as a network. Has any one been watching Mr Robot. I watched the first 3 episode free online. It seemed interesting. Its kind of like fightclub fight club with computer.

Yep! There was a thread that didn't go so far about it. Great show:

I've been gathering the episodes for this show and plan on binge watching it in the next while. It has a 97% positive "fresh" status on Rotten Tomatoes, so that's a good thing.

premise...
Young, anti-social computer programmer Elliot works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. He is recruited by the mysterious leader of an underground group of hackers to join their organization. Elliot's task? Help bring down corporate America.

I find the show at https://psarips.com/tv-show/mr-robot/
The guy there re-encodes the web-dl version to a smaller size. The HDTV version found on torrent sites is fine as well, just lots of logos. 10 shows total in season 1.

Hopefully nothing too shocking like "The Crying Game" movie. I'm still upset about seeing flea's peepee in that other thread about famous people. LOL.

I've watched the first three episodes. It looks really promising and somebody who really understands tech is involved in the show, the jargon is spot on so far.

Great show. It's got a very Dexter feel to it with the "is he good or bad" feel, plus the narration he does. Very different shows though of course, but I can never not be reminded of the other when watching it.

Yeah, I've watched the first couple episodes and I like it but also got a bit of deja vu for The Matrix, Fight Club and Dexter.

Love it so far though and you're right... whoever is writing this has extensive technical experience and an understanding of the underground community.

I did love this show in the beginning, but something about it (for me) hasn't flowed very well. So, I'm hoping that the season finale on Wednesday will answer what I need/want to know.

No spoilers, but I was a bit disappointed in the way the took the last episode. It felt like they went with a cheap plot twist.

I'm a shameless fangirl right now. The cinematography is perfect; the way it's filmed is just gorgeous. Despite huge plot twists (end of episode 6, end of episode 8, basically the entirety of episode 9--face it, everyone knew that twist was coming, though), I don't feel emotionally manipulated. All the deaths had impact. The two minutes after the credits in the finale have me fucking psyched for season two.

Cons: the merry band of hackers were underdeveloped all the way to the end; like, I guess they could just be archetypes for the ways different Americans are screwed by the system, but still, I can barely even remember their names. Angela was boring as hell until the middle of the season, but amazing in the finale. Given the way the season played out, the Angela/Elliot potential romance in the first few episodes seemed superfluous. Tyrell was pretty inconsistent and I'm 85% sure it was intentional, but there's enough doubt that I didn't enjoy him as much as I could.

However: give me BD Wong--in a dress, in a suit, in a lab coat--and I'm there, dude.

Pretty much agree with most of this except for the bad drug trip section, I didn't like that segment very much. I wish they had a few more episodes this season because I still have questions about the FSociety members, Eliot, well shoot, almost everybody. Otherwise it was great, good enough that I actually watched it live instead of On Demand :hilarious:

Rami Malek will forever be Ahkmenrah. It was a bit difficult for me to take him seriously the first two episodes because of the Night At The Museum role.

Sooooo looking forward to season 2!
