I would like to put it out there that a new cam site will be coming soon! It is in final stages of design and we are very excited about it. We will be posting the progress on Twitter and ask any models interested to follow us @hushhushcams

Any models interested in our pay structure, features, marketing strategy, etc. please feel free to contact us - admin@hushhushcams.com

I would very much appreciate any commentary along the way, but also to hear all models opinions on their experiences and what works and what does not. We at HushHushcams want our site to run flawlessly with both models and members in mind.

One of our promotions to get members to purchase one of our packages is: during a specific timeframe from our launch, members will receive 100 additional tokens with a purchase of a package. This is money coming out of the company's pocket and not our models.

Now, I do have a question for any model willing to provide an opinion. We do not want our site overrun with cheap members who are just there to look. The site will be free to register for a basic membership, but we would like to implement an expiration on basic memberships. Let us say, 60 days before the membership becomes inactive. All it takes to make the membership active for a lifetime is the purchase of tokens.

We do not want our site to have false traffic, as we refer to it. We believe it is nothing to brag about, having thousands of members who do not tip our models.

How do you models feel about that?

Not a model. But just thought i'd point out I see basic member's, who have never bought tokens and been on the site (myfreecams) for a long time, make the plunge and buy tokens all the time. Some have been on for years. But they may finally meet the model that does it for them, or they may have been silently watching the same one and some conversation or sale finally got them interested enough to buy tokens. You can never tell what will do it, but it does happen.

I personally think you're cutting off potential revenue by just discounting them as 'cheap members' and locking them out all together after a short time.

Also you'll get a fair number of people using multiple e-mail addresses. And even if you have a page that says in giant letters "Your sixty day trial expired on X date, you signed up at Y date at Z time." you're going to get a steady stream of support tickets that will be asking why their account is locked. And it doesn't really solve the freeloader issue. It's vastly better to convert freeloaders into tippers. There are plenty of premiums on MFC who paid $20 and never a nickel more just so they could speak. Which is great for MFC, but is likely not much of a benefit to the models. Someone who does the same on your site helps you but not the models so much.

Our company does not want to scalp money off members. To us that limits our success and profit. The goal is to manage and have the models who register, have their time become as valuable as possible. The more our models make, the more our company is successful.

Thank you for the comments! I wanted this to turn into a discussion to assist us in developing the best way to achieve our goals. The more opinions the better!

It'd be useful if you posted more info rather than making us email! If you shared a bit about the features, structure, payment options, etc I think more of us would be interested or have direct questions!

Fair enough!

Besides the basic features of chat, private messaging, profile, photos and videos, we are working on a few features accessible to members higher than a basic membership, such as:

Social chat: allowing members to invite others to chat without being in a specific room. A feature that will not cause a new page to appear or require a member to leave a room. No need for a link or button.

Scheduling: this is something for higher memberships and loyal members of models, allowing members to schedule a private show at a time the specific model can accept or change with approval. We like this feature because we feel it give models more time to prepare for the specific needs of members, and hopefully resulting in more money earned.

DVR: another feature for the highest membership. Pause, play, rewind, resume and record streams so members do not miss their desired model. Hopefully, increasing offline tips from members. We understand that people record and put on other sites. This recording is through our server and not stored on the members computer or device. Not for basic members.

We are working on the details for tokens and memberships. We will also be paying models a flat rate of $0.06/token. This will make our site the highest paying site.

What features would you like to see? And please ask any questions! It is difficult for me to read minds and I provided the email for an efficient way to respond and update interested individuals on our accomplishments. The site is still being constructed so this is a good time for models to influence the site.

If you display it, it can be recorded. Even if you do RTSP in an encrypted wrapper of some kind, it will have to be displayed and thus it can be recorded. You can use some other streaming method like MJPEG over HTTP and you'd have the same issue. Once it's displayed client side, a simple screen grabber can record it. I'm not saying don't make it hard, but implying it's really secure is probably a bad idea from a marketing perspective.

I'm not saying it's not an interesting feature from a member perspective, because it is. But it's a potential claim that can make you look really silly.

I would suggest adding a minor annoyance to remind basic members to become token-buying members. Allow them to remain in a room for a reasonable period, say 30-60 minutes, before bouncing them to a page reminding them of the benefits of membership. They could be free to immediately re-enter the model's room, but they'd be reminded regularly that they're second-class visitors.

Great comment, thank you!

We did not want our name to be generic and boring. The idea was to have a concept behind it people can relate to. If we put a smile on your face, that works for us!

I apologize for any difficulty finding out Twitter handle. It does exist. I double checked it was searchable when reading your reply, Emma.

HushHushcams

Oh I'm sorry :) it's just you put @hushhushcams rather than @HushHushcams... So that's why it didn't show up because I copied and pasted @hushhushcams.

Not a model, but I think this is a very smart idea. While I am sure there are basics who upgrade after 60 days, I suspect the number is tiny compared to the number who say, "why should I possibly spend good money to pay for something that is free." On a site like MFC, or Chaturbate having 80% guest and basics watching a show, and probably only 1 person in 20 (5%) actually tipping for any particular show, sets the expectations for the rest.

Now there are some advantages to have a large number of viewers, the place of is popular and for some models, (but probably not the majority) it is turn on to be viewed by 1000+ guys.

Most people tend to place more value on losing something they once had than getting something new. So perhaps after 30 days, basic lose chat, 60 days can't watch show full screen, 90 days watch cum shows (model defined), 120 days they get nag adds every 30 minutes.

It seems me that if you want to implement serious restriction on basics, you will have to require credit card as form of age verification when you sign up. This also solves some potential legal problem with for example the UK, but definitely will discourage many from signing up.

It has been 5 months since my last post on this thread.
The cam site is approximately 2 weeks from going live(built from the ground up). We are working with Payoneer and once live, Payoneer will be able to be integrated.
To get the conversation roling again, I will provide information and changes from previous comments:

Models receive a fixed rate of 6 cents/token.
We do not want models competing for $1000 just to have one model win $1000. The extra 1 cent provides every model the opportunity to make additional money compared to MFC. There will also be model incentives, as follows:
50,000 tokens/month = $50 bonus
100,000 tokens/month =$100 bonus
150,000 tokens/month = $150 bonus
....and so on in 50,000 increments
If a registered model refers a model = $100/model referred providing they earn 10,000 tokens in 2 months (currently being considered for website).

Members will be competing in competitions based on the highest amount of tokens spent. First competition prize will be an all-inclusive trip the the AVN Expo in Vegas.
Members will unlock features by purchasing token packages. The levels will distinguish members on the website.

HushHushcams very much needs models for the launch. We are working hard to market the site and any advice on best places to market will be helpful.

so whatever happened to the launch of this site? was getting excited and more excited but the release date kept being put forward and forward..... i need something new in my life! LOL

There are a lot of moving parts and coordination between other companies. At this point we are just waiting for a few companies to get setup. Thanks for being patient! I apologize about the push back. We lost time when we switched our host company, but it was an issue we are glad we resolved early on. Our streaming software is being completed and is the reason we have not made the open registration announcement.

It's coming! We have also been working hard on the items for the welcome package.

If anyone has any questions while we finish up the remaining items, please do not hesitate to ask!

so...? is this still hapening?

Yes, it is. Apparently, I have done too good of a job responding to questions about the website that the followers of the threads are getting tested with the launch. It is coming. I will no longer provide a timeline to prevent misleading everyone. Once I have completed a few more things I will announce the registration.

I apologize, but this is the reality of startup businesses.

I had a lot of faith in this site, and I would like to think I still do ... buuuut...

With the delay of launch (I know, shit happens) and writing it up as the reality of a start up feels kind of .... shady. It just feels like you will end up being a site that says one thing, does another and makes up an excuse for it. Like ... "oh yeah you didnt get paid because ...whatever ... we didnt make as much as we needed to cover overhead ... but thats the reality of payment systems and overheads loool"

We've found the porn version of Half-Life 3. Only 1.5 months till it hits a year in delays!!

Meh, it's easy to underestimate the complexity of setting up a camsite that will stand out among all the established sites and white labels and accommodate both contractors and members. Once you launch, you start bleeding money, and I wouldn't blame anyone for making sure their site will have the best chance possible.

Meh. Not so bad. I waited 10 years for Chinese Democracy.

There is nothing shady about delays. Let's do this....when the site has its launch, then critique it to the fullest. I ask anyone to point out another site that has been so open to questions and comments. What I have accomplished on these threads alone should be cause for comfort. I don't see other owners answering and responding for months. That should say something. Cam sites are very sensitive creations. People will visit and critique the sites looking for anything they can hate about it. If I launch this site before it is ready, then it has no chance....it's that simple.

I encourage you to read through the other thread in general discussions, if you have not already. The topic of payments has been brought up there and I responded with why a model not being paid will never happen.

The delays have brought no harm to anyone. No one has lost money or time from it. Currently, I am the only person solely affect by the delay. I am not denying the delays...I have made changes that have cost the site time.

I just hate to see negative judgements over something that is so common from the business-side. Please try to understand what I am trying to accomplish and the amount of effort it takes to respond to everyone's questions over the past year.

It is coming.

I was actually the one who brought up folks not getting paid, and your replies to questions is what made me excited for a new camsite. My intentions are not to be negative, but give a perspective from someone who has been watching this since your arrival at ACF.

From my side it feels like you're investing so much in building up our hopes and you show us that you've spent time and money on "swag" but there isn't even a mock up site. Instead of saying you have a thing in the works you keep on delaying and trying to give impossible concrete dates and it gives me the fear that you are taking on more than you may be able to chew, or perhaps you are inclined to give false hope. OR you're just super unorganized and unable to communicate fully with the people working on your site. You have an AVN contest going on .... at least in the other thread you mentioned it, and it's on the site currently you have the option for people to win this trip - but nothing more. Like AVN is in a matter of DAYS.

Even if you check your tweet history there are tweets from march talking about final details of the site. I am just putting it out there it gives a weird impression.

While I don't doubt your a fantastic fella with great intentions - your ideas sound great but your execution not so much and it makes me approach more cautiously than excitedly.
