Sorry for the strange title of the post. And sorry this is long!!! I know I've seen some discussions here about one aspect of this: Whether chats (like in TG or other social media) are sometimes written by studio admins or outsourced altogether (for example, that OnlyFans lawsuit). That was one part of my confusion, so here's the recap:

Met a model on a site about a month ago - nothing unusual. Russian model at a studio in Russia. She was new, had very few followers. I had normal interactions on the site with her; it was pleasant. She was friendly and spent a lot of time chatting with me (not surprising, considering few visitors). Sometimes would use a translator but at other times, she would write in English herself (very apparent). Said her own writing and speaking ability in English is "so so." At some point, she told me her account on StripChat and said she likes the interface better, so that was fine with me (more my cam home base anyway). Overall, I have visited this model about 2 times a week for a month. Maybe 3 times one week.

In one of the first couple of visits with her, she gave her Telegram, which was definitely a work TG.

I have only once previously used a TG account sent by a model. The model was only sending photos and generic messages like "Hope to see you on my stream tomorrow" - marketing stuff. Maybe something slightly personalized on occasion. I deleted it pretty quickly - it was more like spam.

Now with the model who is subject of this post, the TG experience was different immediately. At the start, she wrote much more personal messages, asking a lot of questions; she sent photos of herself in various places. She even sent photos with friends (I thought that was unusual); even sent a baby picture. I just took this all as she is new and maybe I happened to be one of the first customers who was spending money, so whatever.

We were writing back and forth and it was pleasant. She writing about experiences being new in cam modeling or sometimes we're just sending pics of some meal we had. But it seemed like within about a week, her messages changed. It seemed like a different person was writing them. They also had a chatbot quality - like not always matched to what we were talking about. Her replies would be "off." I started to wonder if sometimes she was the person writing but at other times, the studio was writing me. lol :giggle:

But then some off-putting stuff: Less than 2 weeks from start of the TG correspondence, her messages began including statements like, "I am so glad we have found each other" and "You evoke in me notes of romance and real feelings." The messages began to get very long, too - this surprised me. But even though the messages were long, they seemed "generic." Hard to explain. Like, really flowery but not human. It was like someone telling ChatGPT to write a dialogue of some cheezy romantic babble.

Maybe an example helps: I would write something friendly but normal like: "Hope you had a good day. I couldn't go online for the last two nights. I love that photo you sent. Beautiful." But then her reply - this is exactly it, from TG:

Hey… I’m sorry I disappeared for a while. I got sick - I couldn’t even get out of bed, and I had no energy or desire to do anything. Emotionally, I’ve been feeling really lost too. There are so many confusing questions between us right now, and I keep thinking about them. 😔I don’t want to hurt you… but at the same time, I don’t want to lose what we have either. I feel like there’s something between us. Something real. Maybe we just need more time for everything to fall into place. 🫂"

Okay.... WHAT?? 😂 (No idea what she was talking about. What do we have? Why would we lose whatever it is? What confusing questions?)

There were several messages saying something like, "I don't want to hurt you but..." Eventully, I asked something like, "Why do you keep saying you don't want to hurt me? I don't understand. I haven't asked you for anything. Nothing has happened for someone to be hurt." Her reply, AGAIN with strange, out-of-context stuff:

When I say I don’t want to hurt you - I truly mean it. Maybe it’s just a difference in mentality. Where I’m from, people often approach relationships this way - with caution, care. It’s simply that I’ve never had a connection like this before… and I don’t want to make mistakes. 🥺 You didn’t ask for anything, but I’m simply the kind of person who thinks through every possible outcome and worries about things that maybe don’t even need worrying. 😭 Please understand… I’m just trying to find a balance between my job and my real life. Now that both are starting to mix — it’s getting harder. I wasn’t ready for that. But I truly feel like I’ve met someone unusual - someone who’s teaching me things that really matter.

Again... WHAT??? Is it just me or does that sound like bad AI? So, I could continue on with more examples, but you get the point. I'm confused. My questions are:

*Does this seem like anything typical for how models use TG, even if the aim is trying to build initial client base? There's a scam vibe, but like a badly executed scam (not convincing)
* Is there some chance the model IS writing all of this sincerely and maybe has some kind of emotional problems? (I don't want to be rude)
* Is it possible that all or some of this is being written completely by an admin? Or even some company that does this for studios (it seems like bad AI)?

I hope this post isn't offensive. I've been on sites for awhile, but I'm confused because sometimes I think, this model IS writing certain messages to me. Other times, I think, no. But whether it's her or some admin, what's the goal?

In case someone might ask, no, I have not given the model money other than through our few privates online and tips.

Also, some messages in TG (and even a few in PMs in StripChat) talk about how nice it would be to meet in person sometime. (This also confuses me, because I think a studio is not going to write things that are on the edge of violations).

This reminds me of a common tactic in South American studios (not sure about Russian studios though). They pretend to fall in love, then when you're hooked they start asking for money to pay their bills and their sick grandma's hospital fees, etc. They talk about meeting and ask for money for a ticket to visit you, but they'll never show. An excuse will arise on the supposed date of their flight and you'll need to buy a new ticket and pay more bills before they go. They'll drag this along until you catch on, or become stalkerish.

You can find a bunch of instances of these stories online, and several on this site as well.

Money, it's always money.

Smart, don't deviate now or in the future... no matter what!

Studios only care about money and will skirt any rules all the time. Don't think for one second that a studio won't "skirt" or break rules.

I Have kinda been waiting for a post like this. I have a similar story. And I have been wondering the same things. Had a model go back and forth with me and then, out of the blue it gets robotic, then back to normal... I'm also curious, so following the thread?

Did you read the replies to OP’s question?

Why does it matter?

Probably someone new who either left already, got bored of you, or was told by admin to word stuff better, because some men running things, never listen to anyone else (or common sense). Sounds like she was actually doing a pretty good job of scamming you, before they took over. I don't approve of that, but it's pretty typical. Whether you are being scammed or the very very minuscule chance you are not, you need to stay away either way. Just let it go.

It's possible on her part she just enjoys chatting with different guys, I go through phases of chatting with Regs outside of shows, about just life etc . In a friendly non non-romantic, non-monogamous, non sexual way. Makes the shows better, if you get to know them a little more, when you have spare time. But either she left, or someone else stepped in and saw an opportunity to try to exploit you.

When I was a new model my first year I also got overwhelmed by the sheer number of men who wanted to chat in my off time, and so I would just suddenly dip on people. Because they were wearing me out by wanting to chat too much. Some combination of all those things is probably what's going on. I'd bet money you are now talking to some dumb ass studio admin though.

I know this is evil, but if I were you I'd start fucking with them, and stringing them along. Talking about weird shit that turns the tables and makes them want to stop talking to you. It's mean, but it's super entertaining.

I'm so here for this 🤍

She was definitely doing a pretty good job convincing me that she was the person writing in TG, at first. But I think she was the one actually writing, at the beginning. Then yeah, it turned into a mix of messages from her that continued to seem real (including the rather poor English) alternating with long, very fake-sounding messages that were probably written by some admin.

I got bored with the situation but the idea of throwing out crazy replies hadn't occurred to me. That does sound fun. Instead I began giving slightly sarcastic, responses, questioning when something was illogical or contradictory. Those replies also were amusing. (I thought it was AI but even AI content usually makes more sense)

For example, I was at her room, watching her show in public. I start to get TG messages, but she's been dancing for 10 or 15 minutes. The messages weren't in context to anything at the moment. they were saying how she hopes I'll visit tomorrow because she's got some new surprises for a private. So I said, it's weird, but I got these messages from you while you were dancing, but you never went to your phone or keyboard. The exact reply that came later:

I'm sorry about it. At the very least, I genuinely don’t know how much of a delay there is on the broadcast. I'm I’m sorry it came across the wrong way... I was just trying to be myself - open, real, unfiltered. But maybe that wasn’t enough. Or maybe it didn’t look the way I meant it to. I hope you'll understand that I've been having a difficult time lately. I'm trying my best but I'm not there yet.

Does any of this matter? Probably not, but I figured I would ask those who know what's typical.

Nothing I haven't heard before. I'm hoping somebody pops in with some behind the scenes insights from agencies.
When you say "agencies" -- do you mean the studios? If so, not sure what the insight would be. Maybe if certain studio owners or managers were anonymously interviewed, they might laugh and say, "Yeah, we coach the models to say certain things, and if they get certain kinds of reactions that suggest the customer could be vulnerable, we coach them to do even more of it." lol 😆

Seems more common in some places than others. I'm just going on my personal experiences, but I've never encountered the "scammy" love stuff and suggestions about a "special bond" and me being different from every other guy on the sites (ha ha) from models that I know were based in studios in US or western European countries. Again - totally my experience. Not saying it doesn't happen from those regions. But every time I experienced this, it was a model in a Russian studios or Romanian.

Sounds like others have encountered this in other regions, too (Columbia, etc.). I've rarely talked to models from South America. I guess the common denominator is economics.

Yes studios lol. Maybe there is a model on here thats an ex studio model, I don't know. Cause I've looked at some of the websites and they openly say "we will teach you how win man" "get the most out of men" lol. So ya guess I'm hoping there is a ex studio person who wants to weigh in on this thread.

Studios are not coy or shy about their practices.

Everyone seems to need a certain amount of conspiracy theory all up in their cam fantasies and I just don't get it.

Yes, there can be genuine friendships. In 12 years, I have FOUR. I've chatted to or with hundreds of thousands of people. Four. That's it. All of us understand what's up.

Everyone else? You could potentially become a friend but I sincerely doubt that's actually what anyone is looking for on a cam site and those who are upfront about it mean it the least. It's just a line to soften me and I'll probably end up banning them before the night is over.

The goal is always the same. Friendships are built. They are not instantly formed because of money or hitting it off the first time you interact.

There is a difference between friendly and friends. I am always friendly, but there are only 4 people I share real things with.

That's a good answer.
