Long story short,
When i first signed up for CB, it generated a username with basically my email address without the @ and .com . I did not think this is what was displaying but it was. I had entered a different display name but it was not being utilized for some reason. Anyway, got it changed immediately with no issues.
Now 2 months later someone is using it and attempted to extort money from someone i chat with a lot, (mostly in DM's) . This person was sent a DM today asking for money and it looked like it legitimately came from me and that old account. When i try to look at the profile now, it take me to another region. I guess they have the US blocked.
I have submitted a TEch request, anything else I can do here?
