Online vs Offline Tips

Hey everyone! I'm new here and had my first cam session last night. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between online and offline tips. From what I found it helps with your cam score?? Or are they worth more then online ones? I'm confused. haha

I don't think they're worth any more but like you say, they do more for camscore than online tips. Thus cloncludes all I know about the differences between online and offline tips

Exactly. The less time on cam you spend making money, the better it is for your camscore. So offline tips are always better for your camscore than online tips. (Everyone, correct me if I'm wrong ^^)
They are worth the same, though. Every token is worth 5 cents, no matter how you got it.

Online tips and offline tips are exactly the same.

Yeah... to expand on Amber's statement offline tips seem to "help more" because they increase the tokens per time average by adding tokens with NO added time. If you had made those offline tip tokens WHILE online instead but the time you spent online had not change, the net effect on your Camscore would be the same.

In conclusion, the ratio of tokens earned to time online over whatever period MFC uses (60 or 90 days?) is the primary thing that affects Camscore.

Yeah something to keep in mind: If you get offline tips, then get on cam and spend time on cam with little/no online tips, it's pointless. There's a reason you never see me offer a discount or double-rewards for offline tips, because I never want to encourage my tippers to save their tokens for offline. Having a steady flow while on cam is important in more ways than just camscore, too.

Now if you're going to be off cam for a few extra days and have something special to offer for offline tips during that time, then that's wonderful. Just don't advertise it so far in advance that people "save" for the offlines and refrain from tipping while you're actually on cam.

So it's best to always think of it this way: Offline tokens are the same as online tokens.

Offline tips are a sore subject with me. It's one thing if there is a discount for videos or some sort of mutually beneficial deal... but for models to ask for, or expect offline tips for no reason is beyond ridiculous. Paying people to do nothing reminds me too much of the U.S. Congress. :angry4:

Better yet is asking for birthday month and week offline tokens... might as well ask for birthday year offline tokens continuously. :thumbleft:

Online tips and offline tips are exactly the same.

You have no idea how many models I have tried to explain this to, but so many of them insist that there is some magical power to offline tips that makes them oh so much more valuable.

I agree. When I see models do the "Offline tips get you double the raffle tickets" offers, I always wonder how that works out for them, and if it's worth it. If they have a huge following, maybe they're still doing well with ON CAM entries, and OFFLINE entries? I don't know.

I love offline tips, but they are rare for me, and I like to see my tips the moment they're given to me, and to be seen reacting to them. Plus, I'm not gonna lie...it's a little embarrassing to be seen having shitty token nights and not making token goals.
