Think I may be in a pickle.

Okay, so 2 years ago I signed up with a SM studio (icamz). big mistake, right? good news is, i closed the account maybe about 3 months after opening it. Cool.

I'm past my 'ban period' and can now register with SM directly. Cool!

So I applied today at 1am directly with the site.

So I've been waiting on my verification since 1am today. Being patient and all. cool.

Then at 9pm today, I decided I wanted to make an affiliate account with the pornhub white label. JUST the AFFILIATE account, obviously.

So I clicked around on pornhub live. i couldn't find what i was looking for, so i went and started doing other things.

then i checked my email for the hell of it.

i received an email saying "Confirm your PornhubLive streaming account"

Ummm whatt?? While I was clicking around on it, I DID NOT, I repeat I did NOOT fill out any forms or anything. I know better now than to fill out a MODEL application for a white-label.

I DID NOT verify that email. I repeat, I DID NOOOT click on 'verify'. Because that would obviously be a dumb as fuck move.

Is the reason for receiving the email perhaps because I was logged into my regular pornhub community account I use for advertising while I decided to click around?

The email I have for my regular pornhub community account is the same one I received the email on, so I'm thinking that could be it.

What scares me is, this happened WHILE I am awaiting confirmation for the direct SM site.

I'm guessing since I didn't click verify, they're just going to review my application I put in for the direct site as normal and just me on the REAL Streamate. But I wanted to check with you ladies and see if you have any insight on this.

Also, I did contact Streamate's cambuilder and asked them if SM models are also allowed to use cambuilder, so that being said SM should KNOW that I KNOW what a studio is/how it works/etc. So that should be in my favor, also.

Any insight on this, though? You ladies have heaps more experience than me :)

edit:: wanted to add this question: part of me wants to email SM and say "I DID NOOOT sign up for a pornhublive account. I signed up DIRECTLY with you guys. I received an email from PHL asking me to verify a 'streaming account' which I NEVER signed up for. I DID NOT verify the account, please rebuke it.' but I'm scared that doing this would be considered me 'opening my big fat mouth' and then they'll just stick me in PornHubLive which i obviously do NOT want!!

Pornhub has a plugin for their cams that is actually Streamate. I don't know if you can even sign up as a model through there, but you CAN sign up as a member, which may be what you did there.

Pornhub also has a verified model program for videos, which gives you ad revenue earned from your videos. You have to go specifically to the page to sign up for it. I would recommend that you do so, because if someone uploads a video of you and you're verified, you can have Pornhub move that video over to your account and you'll get paid for the ad revenue on it.

It's the weekend, and it can take weeks for verification depending on how backed up support is.

Normally it takes 2 business days
