Elaine Hatfield and Susan Sprecher, super-scientists (okay, maybe they were not super-scientists, honestly I did not google them) wrote a paper on determining the level of passionate love a person is or has ever felt.
The original paper is an interesting read, if extremely sexist; but it's a really interesting read on the psychology and sociology of love. The link to the entire paper is here [PDF].
The shorter reader-friendly version holds only the "passionate love scale" test is here [PDF]. If you look at both links, you will see the original paper has a few more questions; you will also see that the original paper marked the questions they found to be most important. Only the most important questions appear on the user-friendly version.
This paper does have flaws - for example, you are considered to be less in love if you are less jealous of your partner. Or, even if you are not the overly affectionate type, you are considered to be less in love if you do not want huge amounts of affection from your partner.
But I think it's pretty interesting. I scored pretty high, but interestingly not on the "I am always thinking about them" questions.
