hey modelz,

so i do flashes in my public shows and do private shows/skypes... i see a lot of models posting nude/tits/pussy shots on their tumblrs (etc) and i'm wondering-- for those of you who've made that decision-- how did it affect your business? did it increase traffic, or do you think you're losing a ton too for all the people fapping to the freebies?

i just have so many cute nudes i'd love to post but i'm so terrified to give anything away for free. EVEN THOUGH i flash in public and bootlegging shows is a thing.

Ok, good question..this kinda bothered me for the longest time, but I think this best explains how it works.

Guys can find porn everywhere right? Tits, ass, pussy...it's just one image/video search away. So! Why is it that we get tipped for this stuff? Basically they want the interaction. We're giving a live personal exchange. A picture isn't going to be live interaction, but the live camgirl is. Normally when I post pics, it's a picture or a gif. These normally have links to my video stores, which drive members there.

I occasionally post nudes when I'm getting on cam, but normally they're just of me wearing whatever I have on for the day. Either way, I DO find that if you include a picture, guys are more likely to come to your room. People who are horny generally will pay more attention to a picture before words lol.

I post a few, but I do it to sort of tease.
They see it and want to see more. Just a stagnant photo is boring. I use them to advertise my videos (I don't cam as of late, but I do make clips)
It drives people to at least look at my videos. And those pictures get way more reblogs than my teas-y censored pictures every did, so they get to more people and thus more potential customers :3

I have a folder on my computer called MFC, and I stick all the pervy stuff I buy into it. I almost never even look at any of the stuff in it though. The interaction is what is valuble, the rest is just stuff I collect for the sake of collecting. The same way I never look at my own tumblr, I just like knowing it is there.

I cannot imagine not bothing to vist a model, because I found a free picture of her topless. I am sure there are people who are happy with that one picture, but would they have ever given you a single nickle anyways?

For me, if the answer is maybe the answer is no. Anything you put on the internet will last forever so, if you decide to put up a nude picture of yourself, it will be there forever. You have to be okay with that. If I were you, I'd stick with non-nude teaser photos and keep the nude photos to sell. The very most I would do is post the nude but with stars on your lady bits to entice people to want to purchase the set. If people get so used to seeing you naked, it may start to become the expectation (and then they will want to go further, maybe XD) rather than the fun, exciting thing to get to and experience in your chat / through your sold content.

This might be horrible advise though because I'm non-nude and I have 0 experience with nudity but I figured another perspective might be worth reading ^_^; Best of luck with your decision!

For what it's worth (and I'm NOT approving bootlegging in ANY WAY) I was in a cam room on MFC recently and a new premium came in. He did tip and joined on the room's conversation quite well. He told the model he saw a video (bootlegged) of her on a video site (XHamster, Porn Hub and such) and saw in the comments her screen name and the cam site she's on and tracked her down to see more.

Just thinking, in SOME instances, freebies may be a good way to build a following.

The decision is up to the individual model!

Just a thought.

This is actually how I even discovered MFC or camming in the first place. Not sure if I'm allowed to say the name of the model but its one here on ACF, anyway I saw her vid thought she was super hot, followed the link and now well here I am.

So maybe a leaked vid isnt the worst thing in the world? Especially if it nets new tippers.

Before I discovered camming, I was the type of person who posted nudes online because I enjoyed both the attention and showing off my body. So I jumped right into posting nudes on Twitter. My top 5ish tippers are all people who aren't interested in me masturbating or even being nude, so I don't feel that it hurts business. The nudes attract a lot of followers on Twitter, which has in turn helped. I know a lot of people have the mindset that Twitter followers are unlikely to cave in and come to MFC, but I couldn't find that more untrue in my situation. One of my highest tippers found my nudes from Twitter, never was on a camsite, and is now on MFC exclusively for me. Even if this didn't happen though, I still enjoy being admired and watched, so I am happy to have my naked ass all over Twitter. I enjoy knowing that I can post something and have a couple thousand people see it. It amuses me.
