Requesting a new username

Does requesting a new username means they can’t find me with my old one and it also cannot be connected to my new username?

If this will be the case, I would love to have a new username and completely delete my old username. I mean I will keep the account just need a change with my name in it.

Hopefully you can help me with it. I will submit a separate support ticket for this one, so that I can be guided on how to do it correctly.

Thats not a viable strategy, the odds of successfully hiding from another cam model (assuming they want to try to find you) by changing your name is very slim.

I just wanted to change my recent username to a new username for my privacy. I know that there is still a chance for them to find me on site. But atleast now they can’t have access on it unless they will use VPN to bypass the country block, also for almost 11,000+ cam models using the site. It is really impossible to find me that easy though It is still possible to find me, but not that easy just like before. Just my thought.

yeah, true! But honestly I am just trying my luck the second time around. If I will be given the chance to change my username and don’t link it to my newly change one, that would be great to know to be honest.

I dont know the options stripchat provides for name changes for example I dont know if they have a forward option from old username to new username.

I hope they have an option for choosing forwarding and not forwarding to the new username. Because it is just for the sake of some privacy for their cam models. I wish they had this feature.

When you go to Settings and Privacy and click the "Change username" option, it lets you tick a box and make it so people can not find you by your older name:

Be sure to check the box next to "Nobody can find me by my old username via search or profile link"

I literally ask chatgpt earlier for unique different names but turns out it didn’t fit what I wanted also for my branding. I will just keep my username until I can think of something good that isn’t that easy to search and also good for my branding at least now it’s more hassle for them cause they can’t have access on me unless they have VPN to connect I know there’s this still free VPN but I know that isn’t that stable and will keep their connection laggy. So I’m good
