When CB brings in new anonymous users from affiliate programs where do they land them?

Unfortunately hard-programmed one-size-fits-all room ranking can result in a feedback loop with just a few rooms receiving the bulk of directs. It's not trivial to avoid this.

These days anyone and everyone including anons could be directed through personalized room ranking managed by AI which is trained to maximize signups, hold times, and spending. Users have attributes and history, rooms the same, and CB has ample data to train an LLM. I'm not saying they ARE doing it, but maybe they should. It wouldn't be perfect, but even a 1% match is better than 0.001%.

AI would organically sidestep the problems of thumb ratings by focusing on what really matters to CB - growth and profit. And allow models to focus less on thumbs and more on the experience they are creating, relying on AI to direct the appropriate audience. Imagine as a model laughing at an abusive user's thumb-down while you quietly ban them, because you don't show thumbs and they don't matter: "mmm mmm mmm - vent away @bigtightwad4u". The only impact would be that your room would go to the last page of that user's thumbnails with all the other rooms they down-voted.

I've always felt that if a user has been banned from x amount of model rooms, all their thumb ratings should be deleted. As they are obviously a problem user and any data pulled from them would be bad data anyways. The classic situation where they ask a model for a certain action and the model says no, but then user settles for something else only to begin the private and demand the first thing again. Fuck those ppl, they make the rating system less accurate and drag down models that are doing nothing wrong. They are the reason I ban anyone who asks for the same thing twice, and I ban anyone who asks for something that breaks the rules instantly without question regardless if I'm in a pvt or not. I'm not getting no thumbs down rating for refusing to break the rules.

When I ban a user from my room, that user is removed from my followers and I from their favorite list.

If that wasn't the case, my follower count would be twice what it is now.

I ban between 5 and 20 accounts every broadcast. Usually within the first hour I'm online.

I don't understand, if CB focused on directing affiliate traffic to the best converting models online at the time all models would complain about how unfair it is that it's all being directed to one person for hours

That is a problem with hard-coded algorithms.

The AI, having millions of parameter slots available, can incorporate the number of people in rooms. It might assign separate parameters to a series of number levels - 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, etc. more parameters to how quickly those levels were reached, more parameters to its own history, more to time of day down to the minute, and hundreds of thousands more we don't even think of. Certainly it would be trained away from what you described because it does not optimize profit.

If you tipped 1,000 tokens would it only show you rooms with 1,000 token goals? Would it only show you rooms with lower goal counts? Would it only show you rooms that you could afford in private for 1,000 tokens at a per minute/duration preferred rate? What about hair color and eye color and...I mean then we're getting into a little too much Demolition Man-ish.

Edit to add: I'm fine with AI moderation. I am not fine with AI deciding my place on the site.

It doesn't? Why not? The percentage of actual registrations to hits is low even less that actually buy tokens.
Then it optimizes hold time. Anyway, who cares how many anons a room gets, do models complain they aren't getting their share?

They land on the tour selected by the affiliate, usually top woman category.

I'm confused isn't that what you are talking about? Affiliate traffic is 99.9% anons, other traffic is already being directed by the recommendation rooms system.

If you repeatedly tipped more in rooms with 1000 token goals, and all the other million parameters equal, it would move those rooms up in your personal thumbnail pages. Other rooms just move down they don't disappear.

There are first-tips, goal-completing tips, Yeehah tips, 1-token tips, last tip, etc. ,etc. AI can take all of them into account and test to see if they relate to profits, growth, or hold time.

I just thought of another optimization goal, speed of spending.

AI can identify users that seem to frequently suppress engagement by other users when in the same room. Maybe institute another color group for them: like Brown :) Or refer them to support, "this person seems to be a liability?"

I love you with all of my heart, I really really do, but why you trying to complicate my life even more? Defeating the original algo has been hard enough.

I probably shouldn't have led with that question. And thanks for the answer.

I think the biggest problem about this industry is never considering what the people actually supplying the content want. It's always about the viewer. It's why Chaturbate HAS to exist. If I didn't say no or yes or whatever there would be no audience and they get to pick whether or not I'm worth watching for 5 seconds or 5 hours and I get to pick whether or not I put up with their personal brand of bullshit.
