I'm fairly new to US Netflix and only recently realised that there's content on there that isn't listed on the main page. Here be a thread where you can share your Netflix discoveries, those films or TV shows or whatever that lie just off the beaten track.
Firstly, there's some awesome music stuff on there that doesn't start to appear on the front page until you start watching other music-related content.
There's some great stuff from the Montreux Jazz Festival on there. In particular...
Isaac Hayes Live At Montreux

Wu Tang Clang Live At Montreux
There's also a really cool festival film called... Festival! on there. It's a doc about the Newport Jazz Festival the year Dylan went electric and incurred the wrath of the painfully square folk traditionalists (sidenote: how cool is "Hip To Be Square" be Huey Lewis & The News?). There's some great stuff on there from Muddy Waters and Son House and Joan Baez too.
Speaking of Dylan, there's an awesome doc entitled No Direction Home on there. It's directed by Scorsese and features original interviews by Dylan and pretty much everyone involved with Dylan's ascent from idealistic teen to folk hero to reviled purveyor of rock and roll ("Judas!") to later being worshipped as a genius and god-like musical figurehead.
