Hello everyone I am new to this forum and I am not entirely sure how it even works. But I am at my whits end now and I’m not sure what to do anymore. I have been trapped in an agency without even knowing I was in an agency.. this woman approached me and asked if I wanted to cam on her website.. she set me up and did everything for me and covered the website streamate with her agency somehow I do not know how.. so until recently I didn’t even know I was actually camming on streamate… now I met some girl who uses streamate and she told me everything.. so this woman has been taking hundreds off me for years without me even knowing.. and of course she doesn’t do anything to warrant taking a huge 20% cut.. it is not fair how little money I am left with after streamate take 70% and she takes 20% . I am only left with 10% and I work very hard for this money. It’s very unfair and taking a huge toll on my mental health. I found out this woman has stolen all of my bonuses and stolen hundreds of me throughout the years. I even have proof of it which I sent to support but they don’t care. This woman has set up a 6 month clause so that I cannot use streamate for 6 months if I leave her ‘agency’ but the thing is I can’t possibly be without streamate for 6 months.. it is my only form of income. Please can someone help me… is there any way round this 6 month thing? I didn’t sign any contract or anything… I wasn’t even aware I was in an agency until recently.. this woman is stealing hundreds off of all of these girls without them even knowing.. I am really shocked that support doesn’t care about this woman using their website to scam many young clueless ladies. I am slaving my ass off just for my money to be stolen every week! It’s not fair! I have been speaking with Caitlin from support for months but they haven’t helped or taken me seriously at all. Why will no one take this matter seriously?

Oh, that sounds familiar. I also left Streamate.com at the agency. But I didn't have to wait 6 months even though it was in the contract. It was by agreement. But even so, I'd rather wait 6 months. Reason for leaving? I also had a problem, I was constantly missing money from the competition and bonuses. The Streamate site always wrote to me that they sent everything to the agency. The agent wrote to me again that I had to write to the payroll department. And I didn't get the bonuses anyway.

6months will be over in no time. i know its gonna suck working other sites, but come summertime you will be able to sign up independently. email support asking them to close your account down and screenshot your last time broadcasting on your campage. even if they dont respond, you have a paper trail of dates that streamate can refer to in case the studio own does shadey shit like streaming a blank wall for 30 minutes.
sign up for every site you can. get your clips and pso on. you have other options to make money. it wont be the same but its only temporary

My agent let me do it. So I was able to work on Streamate.com right after a week.

Good luck, i just started my 6 month streamate break to be able to leave a studio that did nothing but take %. they ghosted me until i involved sm, still nothing that could be done (even when the studio clearly did lie and break the contract) so now wandering around for 6 months till i can go back (back then it looked like i would sign up with sm directly.)
who knows, maybe in those 6 months i will find a place where my 40 hours every week will make me more money. maybe for you as well! good luck.
