Users choose displayed forums mod

This is more of a question/comment/request/whatever for Amber/Jawbs but have you considered/tested the "Users Choose Displayed Forums" mod https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... 95&start=0 (or similar)?

The reason I ask is there are some forums (i.e. "Models: Advertise Here!" and "Forum Games") that I really have no interest in seeing the topics in. This is especially true when I use the "View active topics" filter pretty much all the time. Not that I think they don't have a purpose mind you.

Also I do realize that there would be a possible performance hit when using mods like this so obviously if that is an issue then we would not want that.

Anyway just figured that I would bring this up and see what you and the members think as well.

Or rather, one that filters the "unread posts" page. That's all I look at.

I'm not really into filtering forums, but one modification I HAVE seen and would love to see it here, is the ability to click on a quoted post (like in this post if I clicked on "RedHerby Wrote:"), and have it take you to that member/model's original post. Quite often, I want to see the context of the quote without having to trudge through ten pages of posts to find it.
