I know the topic of sharing videos has come up before but I wanted to use mediafire to host my videos. Id heard good things but now Im wondering if its not such a good idea.
For those of you who use it, do your viewers have to create an account just to see the video? Is there anyway to password protect your photos?

Is there a site where I can host my videos and put a password lock or something on it?
I just want it to be as easy as upload, copy link, paste link, viewer types in password and watches video. lol
Is that a thing?

I haven't heard of a streaming site where the viewer has to enter a password (which you say you're looking for), but guys prefer downloads over streams anyway.

A way to password protect anything is to throw it into a WinRar archive.
Just put your file (like a video file, a photo, a folder with photos, a folder that contains both a video and photos, or whatever) into a new WinRar archive, and before compressing it, you tell it to password-protect the archive. Then they can't extract it without the password.
You likely have WinRar on your computer already, and so does the member, and it's super easy, basically self-explanatory. My version of WinRar is in German, so I can't post any screenshots here, but I'm positive you'll find simple tutorials in text form or on YouTube.

Media fire does also have the option of streaming on top of downloading and password protecting videos, I don't believe you can paddword protect photos though... but here's the thing. You can only find that video if you have the direct link. I removed all my video passwords a year ago and have had no problems. It's not easily searchable as long as you keep everything in separate folders.

What do you mean "keep everything in separate folders"? Like, each video in its own folder? If you don't do that can people access the other files in the folder easily? :?
