Hey everyone! So I read some of the discussions on here about dmca and videos takedowns etc. My problem is that when I first started finding stuff online like pornhub or other sites, I filled the dmca forms with my real name and everything. That was a few years ago. Since last year I ve had like 5 different videos resubmitted every week with my full name in title, model name, city, country and even the university I go. That person must have looked up everything about me. I dont know if someone found me trough the dmca form or maybe the amazon wishlist, I just dont know. I dont have a fb page with my full name or any other personal pages. I got the videos removed every time but the problem is that links still exist. Google helped with their "right to be forgotten form" but If I search my full name on bing for example the first thing that shows up is pornhub and other porn sites. The video is deleted but unfortunately the thumbnails are still there. I cant get those removed apparently as these shady sites dont respond to emails or anything. My question is, do you know some way that I can push back those results or I dont know, bury these results somehow. I' m just at the lowest point right now just thinking I will finish university soon after struggling for so many years and a potential employer could just search my name and find all this... Thank you for your patience if you read this.

You can push back results.

Social networks almost always appear first in google results. Make a bunch. Even if you aren't using them actively. Make them.

For some reason I think @supermila has answered a question like this before. Or maybe it was someone else and they can help better.

Very vague response. If you want me to push for elaboration, let me know:

Yes I can get all of that deleted, That is why I have my clients use my
address since I am the dmca agent. Never ever give any pirate site real
information as it does come back to haunt you.

I get a politician and a menswear store with a search on my real name. Start on your professional and personal online presence, and it should replace links to all other content. LinkedIn is a good choice along with all your social media, and perhaps things such as a YouTube channel revolving around some interest can be useful too. If you do something video based, a link to a porn site may give the impression that it is there simply because of your looks, not due to any content that you made.
One further thing is registering for a business name under your own name, this will always show up high on any search.

Keep in mind while you are doing this there will be a degree of security risk, so keep certain details quiet until the porn links are replaced to your satisfaction.

Another thing, does anyone know if sites that "rebuild" your "online reputation" actually work? I did some reseasrch but havent actually found someone that tried it. I know, I m kind of desperate. Can't even do anything all day without thinking about this. Thank you so much again.

Thank you so much for your answers. Yeah, the LinkedIn profile I think was the one that got me in trouble in the first place too, except from the dmca forms under my real name. Because they wouldnt have had where to find infos about my city and the full name of the university I go to and the linkedin profile was the only thing available at the time. MFC has a dmca agent that kind of helped, well he got some videos deleted but can't help with the links that are still left behind or the thumbnails. Or at least so he says. I'm going to try and make some "spam" accounts so they push these search results behind. The thing is that when i search for my name the links to porn sites is all that comes up.

There's two reasons for this:

A) The other web properties you want ranked aren't indexed. Search engines have to crawl the pages before they can index them appropriately. Linking to the pages you want ranked from a site that gets crawled frequently will help. Linking to them from multiple places helps too. Don't think that just tweeting it out will work (even though Google and Twitter have a data partnership, you also have to worry about Bing/Yahoo, as you've stated)

B) Some sites, tube sites especially have insanely high "PageRank". That's a Google metric (that Bing/Yahoo blatantly rip off) for the authority of a domain and individual websites. Needless to say tube sites (especially popular ones like the Pornhub network) have an insanely high PageRank. It would be quite the challenge to top that, so you'd really have to focus more on the onsite optimizations for your alias.

It also sounds like you have to do some major "SERP Spamming" (SEO term for what you're trying to accomplish) on both your alias and your real name. For your real name, try starting a personal blog. Hell, I've got multiple hosting reseller accounts with way too much free bandwidth than I'd ever use per month. If you want I'd be willing to piggyback the blog on one if you want to save some hosting costs. Otherwise, I'd highly suggest A2 Hosting or Siteground for good shared (NON-ADULT) hosting. Slap some AdSense on there and you'll generate a little bit of income off it as well.

Also, one thing to consider is that Google tries to balance the number of domains displayed on the first few pages. That makes it near impossible to create 50 different Twitter handles and get all 50 of them ranked on the first pages. That's why you should be trying to optimize multiple profiles and multiple sites.

*******

Hell, if you really want to try sinking all the tube site's rankings, report the PornHub network for paid links. One could argue that HubTraffic is paying a CPM for backlinks, as they've developed a system of referral tracking on the domain level, therefore taking advantage of backlinks instead of affiliate links. Technically, since webmasters are getting paid for building links to the PornHub network (in a very automated way via csv/zip importing) they're non-compliant with Google's webmaster guidelines. It's a stretch that it'll work, but you always gotta consider all the options on the table.

Actually, for the personal blogging I suggested, WordPress.com or Blogspot would work fine. WordPress.com does a lot to ping search engines as well. Didn't even think of self-hosted blogging at first, because I hate how "Fisher Price" they are in functionality, but it's definitely the 100% free option in dominating some of the SERPs for your real name.

Well, you seem really good at this. I dont know much about these stuff, just what I tried to find out from forums and blogs. On google I'm safe... pretty much because of that european legislation that allowed me to stop the pornhub links and others from showing in the search results. I will try the blog thing, again I dont know how but I will try:)). I really appreciate the time for responding. Thank you very much.

I read an article on cracked of all places, and those "rep rebuilders" basically do the kinds of things Amber's Troll has already recommended, only on a larger scale. The main goal is to knock the unwanted search results off the first couple of pages, and if you can do that without paying someone extra money, don't worry about it..

Yeah, I' m going go get started on doing that by myself for now and see if it works. I have a pretty long, romanian name which I dont think I share with anyone else actually. So that's gonna be pretty hard to hide. Thank you all!!

Just in case anyone needs this info: I contacted a website that says they can rebuild your online reputation and push back negative results and everything. The price tag for me was about 10000$.

This is actually a good question .... I suspect the answer is probably not really, depending on how hard someone is looking into your reputation. I do think you can make it less significant, or lay a better spin around it, this is what such sites really specialize in.

Yeah.. the advice others have given you is good.

In my experience sometimes it is better to pollute your name rather than clean it. It is very hard to remove every single video/thumbnail/pic with your name attached to it so instead of doing that create clutter. Fill pornhub with fake videos with your full name. Just download short clips that are already on Pornhub and re-upload them with your name as title and tags. It is better to use the exact same title the other videos are using because you already know it works with google/bing/whateva. Do the same with xvideos, xhamaster, etc. Then take random pictures of other girls and upload them to tumblr with your full name on the title. Do the same on instagram and other platforms. The more websites you pollute the further down the actual videos will go. The idea is you create so much garbage that your own video will be lost in it and anyone who doesnt know you do this wont click on more than 3 or 4 links.. once they find it isnt you in them they wont go on.
