After doing my typical introduce yourself post, I thought I'd inaugurate myself by asking a weird, irreverent, funny question (I'm that kind of person). I've been on a couple times already, but every time I go on...my nose itches. I'm a pretty inventive guy and can figure out ways to hide a lot of things or make them look like part of a show...except that. The obvious thing is to go off-cam for just a second to scratch it and work it into a show, but sparing that is there a way to deal with it that's dignified and subtle?

You're only human, nobody minds if you scratch your nose on cam. :)

My nose always runs on cam, no matter what I'm doing or how healthy I am. I pretty much just call myself out on it when it happens. Like Allison said, you're only human. :)

True that -- I just don't want to look like a complete prat on cam, or come off like I'm digging for gold or something.

Don't worry about it. If it's on the outside/tip, just scratch and move on. If it's nearer to the inside rim, it's best to just move off-cam for a minute. My nose runs every few minutes while I'm on cam. Don't know why, always has. I always worry that the regs will think I'm doing Coke or something, cause I'm CONSTANTLY rubbing my nose. But I've only gotten a few comments about it in the past 2 years.

Fuck the haters; scratch your nose, boy.

Everybody knows you don't do Coke. Clearly the label shows Pepsi.

Could be coke in a pepsi bottle (which makes a fantastic prank if you get one of those people that swear by brand names, by the way). Anyhow, thanks for the advice...just won't worry about it unless it's a huge issue, and then I can just act like I'm flashing my butt or something while I itch away!

Coca-Cola's generally more expensive than Pepsi, or RC and its equivalents, so I doubt Iris would buy it.

I've never noticed before, but now I'll be looking for it. :happy-partydance:

If I have to do something to my face that I don't want to show on camera, random doggy style for a bit. Unless it's blow my nose, then "sorry guys, gotta step off camera to do something disgusting real quick. I'm not going away, just right here..." (and I keep talking for the whole thing except the actual blowing part so they know that the empty screen is very temporary.)
