I'm reaching out to this amazing community today because I'm in the process of building something new, and I want to do it the right way—with your input from the very beginning.
I am actively developing a new cam site that is being designed from the ground up to be democratized and to prioritize the model's experience above all else. For too long, it feels like platforms have been a necessary evil rather than a true partner. I believe we can change that.
But to build a platform that truly serves you, I need to hear from you. I have my own ideas based on years of observing the industry, but it's your day-to-day experiences that matter most. I'm curious about what's most important to you when you choose a place to work and build your brand.
For instance, when it comes to the fundamentals:
Compensation: Is it all about the highest possible revenue split? Or is the transparency of platform fees and the reliability of on-time payouts just as critical? How do you feel about the current industry standards for pay-per-broadcast vs. subscription models?
Safety & Privacy: How much of a concern is content theft and the need for proactive DMCA and takedown support? What kind of moderation tools would make you feel safest and most in control during your broadcasts?
Member Etiquette: We all know that the vibe of a community can make or break the experience. What are your biggest frustrations with member behavior, and what tools or platform policies do you think would foster a more respectful and fun environment for everyone?
Platform & Support: Are you looking for more robust, reliable tech that just works? Or is having access to responsive, helpful human support more important when things go wrong? What features do you wish your current platform had that would make your life easier?
My vision is to create a site where you feel respected, secure, and empowered—a place built on fairness and transparency. But that's just a vision until it's shaped by the real needs of the models who will call it home.
