Seminal BRitpop band The Stone Roses, Inspiration for a generation and more than one genre of music are my next port of call in Manchester, Off to the fastest selling Rock gig in history, 14 minutes, 220'000 tickets sold!
Just bought tickets today (the same coworker I went to RHCP with is going too) for the "rock" day of a music festival not too far away. It's a bunch of bans who most would say are past their prime and one that is trying to relaunch their career after an 8 year hiatus but I'm stoked anyhow. Five bands (two of which I care about seeing) for half what the RHCP tickets cost us.
