Maybe you models have a private email more detailed. It reads suspended. Until further notice? Have no idea. Not that counts but has the Tos changed?
I haven't gotten one yet. It seems sus and it doesn't reassure me at all.

lol couldnt even apologize to us in the fucking email LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWL

They are only changing their Oct 1st deadline. Do they say anything about their December full removal? Also does this mean they're dropping attempt to put a phone app together?

Yeah that's true, nobody is talking about Dec 1st in any of the media or on twitter.

So conflicted, I felt bad cause the loss of income affected some dear IRL friends and that still sucks but part of me (the bit that likes reality tv dumpsterfires) is entertained. Has enough happened for OF comedy or errors to be considered funny?

Did they send out another email to you creators yet or we just reacting to the twitter statement?
Yes we got another letter with updated acceptable use policy. Either way my trust in the company is shot 8BBF2777-21BE-4EEB-8B23-12D99AF5695D.jpeg

They haven't done anything for the members yet. Why should I buy content on the platform if they can just remove it at a whim and they offered nothing for compensation or download? That's what's going to hurt them and models that continue to use the platform more than anything. They've made their site as uncertain as a snapchat forever and that's a huge issue.

Ive really wondered the member perspective of all this as it is their money and last i check before this craziness was over 100 million members and 2 million creators … where are the members expressing their concerns ? Thank for sharing

At this point right now they don't owe you anything, though.

We also never 100% confirmed what was going to happen with PPV unlocked content. So take a breath, bud. lol

if you dont feel comfortable, then dont. be patient and watch what it does.

and you are paying to view onlyfan pages. pay for view. i dont understand why you want compensation... you got what you paid for. if you want to download your purchased content, be sure to use a platform that does give you the option to.

it seems like the banks or whatever did a power play on OnlyFans: "be good boys or we'll destroy your business model".
Either that or it was a huge risky publicity stunt. Think about it: sooo many major media outlets have posted about it...

They might have played us, but I'm not leaving just because of that lol. It's my livelyhood, I can swallow the pride for a little while.

Still looking for a contingency plan though, right? I think Fansly looks good? Especially now that OF is back on. The JFF guy must be so fuckin' pissed lol, I think they upgraded their servers

Exactly this.

If a member is subscribed to a model for a year and after that year she decides to rebrand or quit the industry and wants to remove all her old content, should the site give all that money from that year back to the member? Absolutely not.

What smells weird is: why would they only be able to resolve the conflicts now? What has changed in the last 3 days?
Sounds like either the banks are full of shit... or OnlyFans is.

Either way I'm happy that these nice, wholesome, non greedy boys were able to come to an agreement

I really don't think it was ever the banks, there's been no issues with similar sites recently and there's been nothing to suggest that they weren't already in compliance with their policies. It also seems easier to me to find alternative banking platforms who are less fussy about SW than to essentially tell your main sources of income to go fuck themselves.

Like not only is infuriating, it makes zero sense from a business standpoint. There is a ton of potential for OnlyFans to make business choices that go in the exact opposite of where it's currently headed. There are SW friendly platforms they could partner with that would give them more autonomy as far as policies go, which would make them more attractive to creators and net them even more money. But they have made zero moves in anything even resembling that direction.

It really doesn't seem like they are interested at all at succeeding as an adult friendly platform and that they are hellbent on this lukewarm idea of being a PG-13 site for SFW influencers. They will never be able to compete with Patreon, ko-fi or any of the other SFW creator platforms but they keep acting like they already are instead of just living with the fact that they're a porn site now and embracing it because it made them all rich.

There has been history of banks closing adult entertainers' accounts for their job... So It's probable.

You're able to download on MFC Share and ManyVids (when models choose to enable the "download" option).

At this point I feel like so many people simply WANT there to be something more fishy going on than the obvious/stated reasons.

I think most members were not concerned, as most models stated that they were moving platforms. So they wouldn't be losing much other than a few vids they purchased (which most probably already downloaded).
For myself, I canceled my renew for the simple reason that I didn't want to give OF any cent after that stunt and because the model I subbed said she would be moving.
I'll have to see what she will be doing now; Stay or move and I'll renew or re-sub after her decision.

A couple of my longest-standing members said they were glad I was not switching platforms, because they were not going to be sharing cc information with any additional/new sites. (Just like I am not interested in giving some up-and-coming unknown site my ID/banking info. For me, making the new ToS work out for me at OF would likely still be MUCH more profitable than moving at this point in my career.)

I honestly don't care anymore. It's just a shit show.

LOL I don't disagree! But after being around for as many years as I have, I guess I'm just tired of the constant distrust and conspiracy chat that's so much trendier to toss around than actual rationalization.

Why is OF the preferred site to use anyway?
Because it's HUGE. And thus, the biggest and most profitable platform. Household name, so to speak. Even without me being in the industry, my Mom knows the word.

It's easier to convince someone to purchase goods at a well known site than some up-and-comer.
