I am confused about all this Onlyfans drama. I know models/creators are already making accounts elsewhere and preparing to jump ship. If the changes are not going to happen, wouldn't OF be concerned enough about losing people that they would put out a definite statement?

I think I've just read the same article. Tend to believe the guy as he has no reason to be lying and it's not like he doesn't like money. Maybe it was something the site couldn't or wouldn't enforce or implement, aka verification. My 2 cents.

Onlyfans doesn’t use any payment processor, they process payments themselves. They know they were going to close since they rolled out that VAT scheme. Has little to do with “Operation Chokepoint” or with Visa and MasterCard, that’s just the veneer.

I think maybe you’re confusing it with MFC that uses ccbill and netbilling? I believe OF had direct CC payments, which would still run through merchant accounts and their associated banks that may have imposed some new restrictions on OF to keep the accounts running. We all know that lots of financial institutions and processors hate porn. When this happened to pornhub, ph didn’t cave and kept the porn but stopped being able to take payments to pay us creators. Seems OF has taken the opposite route and kept payment abilities but had to drop actual porn. It stinks but it is what it is.

Don't put too much stock on Peach... CB is sloppy, careless and late whenever they roll out new initiatives and they end up ditching them about a month after implementation. I am personally considering Fancentro and Fansly as top options for now, but I will take some time to make up my mind depending on payout, functions and support.

Don't post landscapes with copyrighted buildings or rocks in it (Eiffel Tower at night, Hollywood sign, Notre Dam de Paris, Ayers Rock and many others) and you should be fine.

Yes, because my page is free anyway, so guys are only paying to unlock the posts they choose to see. And it's one of the few sites where I can actually post audio clips, if I want to. Seems like they also get cold feet incredibly fast when it comes to potential legal issues. Which I guess I can understand. It can be difficult to trust these sites to have airtight standards and enforcement. Even if the sites mean well and are 100% trying to comply with laws, one slip-up can be a huge problem.

Im sure that’s part of the reason CB tends to have overly cautious banning practices (still doesn’t justify how poorly they communicate on such things, but I digress).
