Well,

this approach doesn't seem to be working for you. I am not saying this because I think no one should ever try to create something new on their own. I just think it's much less likely that you will come up with something successful on your own. Particularly based on how your examples have been halted by lack of awareness and ignorance to how the industry works. Working on this side of the industry will give you a better idea of where there are needs for innovation, and how you could provide that, while avoiding needless setbacks because you don't know about basic things that are happening.

Most successful new projects (not produced by some previously existing large industry entity) seem to have better insight either directly because they are headed up by performers, or they have taken the time and done their homework getting all the needed information from performers--when we are willing to take OUR time to share with random strangers who want to make money off of our work, so let's add consultation fees to the list if you're really serious. A more direct route would give you the best odds at a profitable outcome. Know what I mean?

If you are able to establish yourself as someone beyond random internet stranger #1097413, then you might get better responses to your inquiries. But it's asking a lot for nothing in return when you just show up to a community you don't participate in like this.
This is why I came to this sub to ask questions about the side of the business that I don't know. It is a very secretive industry. I figured that I should start with what I know the best and complete it, then move on the the other parts of this cobbling and his is one of the places I started for other info. This project is not a loss for me. I gained great skills that I can use elsewhere. Also his project was supposed to be something a performer would be interested in. Something more beneficial to them and yes for me to get paid from it. My intentions where not to take your time in this forum. I am not quite sure how I am make money off work of anyone in this forum. I actually help some performers that I know bring traffic to them. I mean performers are making money off of the web nerds of chaturbate and the others. I was only trying to discuss a possible better way to do that. This is a public forum with a sub the reads "Ask a model". ...boy did I read that one wrong. I really did not mean to upset anyone. I realize now that is close knit community, model for model. I will keep this in mind.

No, I think my tone came across wrong, but I am not criticizing your actions here so far. I mean that if you are going to continue with this project or any other, you will certainly need more help. So I think it's good to consider how you can add to the community as well, not just pop up to ask questions.
getting paid by hot women and making them more money
Eventually, if you come up up with a plan that works, you will be making money off of the performers. That is what I meant when I brought it up.

Years ago I thought crypto would not make it this far. Now I'm seeng more and more commercials and crypto machines popping up. I figured maybe I was wrong. When I read the recent articles on crypto and porn it seems all good.

The goal for this project was to make it very worth it for a model to want to learn crypto. If the site and traffic could get the model well over more that what she would usually make, while instantly having the money or bitcoins in her personal bitcoin account, I would think she would not pass it up cause of a few extra steps. At least I don't think all of them would. And yes crypto is volitile. I thought that alone would have stopped it from growing, But it hasn't.
The main issue is not models learning crypto. A LOT of models already are set up to take crypto payments.

Most customers will not use crypto to pay us no matter what the incentive, and only a tiny percent of customers will use it to purchase tokens or make payment on websites so it's not viable now and may never be. It's frustrating but that's the facts.

Most of the articles on crypto and porn do point this out. Those that don't usually have someone writing them who is wanting to start yet another crypto porn site (which so far all have failed, without exception). Nobody has a successful site running just on crypto.

This is the point that I wish people understood. The models/creators demographic is all across the map, and only a SMALL section of that is made up of people who are into crypto.

Haha! It's a legitimate goal if you ask me, but you need to have a plan on how to get there. Just rattling off these bullet points. It's the bare minimum If you want to have people pay for whatever you sell.

  • What can you bring to the industry that others can't? Enthusiasm? Low corporate BS factor? Better payment options? Better support for Latin American or Asian models?
  • What are your disadvantages before and after you have the first model streaming on your platform?
  • Are there any upcoming technical, business or political changes in the industry you can take advantage of?
  • Identify bumps in the road, both during prep, beta and after launch. Payments have been mentioned numerious times ...
And so on and so on. The tech stuff is fun, but you need to build it on a foundation.
Wow. Thank you CheeseMoon. Those where very thoughtful. Especially the first one.
I would like to give back. If anybody has any porny tech questions please ask. .............( cricket chirps in the background )
