Exactly, that's what I've always thought too.
I think that's why a lot of North American cammers didn't want to go to Berlin. Full sex shows in public while on cam with total strangers? The security would have to be CIA levels of paying attention to the surroundings.

Yes, I agree. This is the main reason I've never wanted to go to any of these types of things.

And I just showed how parasocial I am with Twitch streamer drama haha, tinyfrog and I use it as our daily soap opera content. I read LSF and yeet tweets daily :D :D
Since twitter updated the algo, that's all my for you feed has been... yeet and the yeet like accounts. So pretty much all I have seen for weeks is people arguing about hassan shocking / not shocking his dog, people arguing about wheather twitch should have allowed someone to give birth on a live stream and the twitch con security fails. Funny thing is I dont care about any of it but it completly floods my feed so I seem to be upto date with the soap opera we call twitch.

I think the bigger fuck up than twitch letting him go was when the police asked for his info twitch declined to provide it, didnt a bunch of shit like this happen last year too which was why they were tweeting before twitchcon that they were increasing security?

That awkward moment when you're watching/editing a video you filmed where you play a crazy girl and realize the acting may be a bit too good...

Anyone try the new search on CB? You're supposed to be able to type in "redhead in a green dress" and it pulls up relevant rooms.
I hadn't heard that, but will give it a try next time. Does the search interface look any different?

Sounds like it's now using AI to pick real time suggestions that match the search terms - like Chat(urbate) GPT
Now wondering about the relevance of hashtags and search filters, they probably still have a place but maybe less so when users can describe exactly what they want to see.
Guess it comes down to how accurate the new search proves to be.

I wonder how accurate it'll be. Not long ago, I stumbled on a site that had all my links on it and it had an ai generated story about me. I had a very good laugh! It mentioned that I make 10-12k a month LMFAO!!!!! I WISH

Well I tried a variety of searches, no hits. But knowing how CB seems to delay rolling out new features in my region, maybe it's not yet functional here.
Sounds like it should be an interesting search option though!

I haven't made way to my desktop yet but I searched "blue" on my phone and all of the rooms that came up had blue in their room decor or were wearing blue clothing. All shades of blue. Try that?

James Spader is so fucking hot. Dear lord.

I’ve been rewatching The Office and I’ve gotten to where Michael leaves. James Spader’s scenes are legitimately the best parts of The Office after Steve Carrell left the show. There’s just something about him that I’m so insanely attracted to. Gonna have to rewatch some of his other films soon (like Secretary… even though I just watched it recently, because OMFG).

Spader has always made me weak in the knees. It's like you're expecting this asshole thing to come out of his mouth and then it's just disarming and gentle and thoughtful. WANT.

I JUST recently started binge watching every episode of The Office on Peacock (And I finished it!), and I was so sad when Steve Carrell left. I love blurting out “That’s what she said!” when the opportunity presents itself. 😂

Whoever came up with the ideas for Steve Carrell and Jim Carrey to team up for Bruce Almighty…(and Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who)…they had the right ideas, because omg, what a duo!

James Spader’s character in The Office actually irritated me. Lol. But yeah, there’s no denying the actor is smooth as fuck. If the term ‘swagger’ was in the dictionary with a photo, it’d be a photo of James Spader. Did you ever watch his show The Blacklist? I knew when I saw the episode’s title was ‘Raymond Reddington: Good Night’ that I was gonna be crying by the end of it. I didn’t think it was possible for me to love another version of the song “My Way” (Frank Sinatra), but that Spanish version featured in the finale of The Blacklist…omg, what a perfect song to use for that scene all about the iconic Raymond Reddington.

When I think of a 1980s teen movie villain, James Spader and Billy Zabka are the two faces that come to mind.

I do enjoy Spader’s work, though. I thought he did well with a pretty off-putting character on The Office.

I only ever saw him in Blacklist, that I can recall, but he was amazing ! I remember being blown away by the casting and acting. But I only had time for one season.

I'm sooo excited! We had The Northern Lights reach all the way down here in Maryland, and I was able to see it through my iPhone camera. Yes, I cried. I've been obsessing over wanting to finally see it.

A traditional family Thanksgiving treat - homemade cranberry relish made using an old hand grinder from whole cranberries, apples, and oranges, and copious sugar. It's super tart, super sweet, and moist, making it the perfect relish for turkey white meat. Some people sneak a little on the side.

Oranges in the grinder and the pan:

Now the apples:

Mixing it all together:

Add the sugar:

Put into Ball jars and into the fridge:

Recipe:
12 oz package of raw cranberries
1 very large red apple
2 very large navel oranges
1 cup sugar

Usually we use two small apples and four small oranges, they are easier to find and generally sweeter than the large ones. We made a quadruple batch and got four quarts and one pint. The grinder is clamped to the table edge with newspaper padding and another large pan is on the floor to catch drips, the drips are added back into the mix for moisture.

If you don't add in the grinder cleanout that's on your conscience. Same with not wiping off the table legs and floor :)

Ok so this is kind of random, but I want to make a post advocating for hamsters.

Seriously.

I'm in the market for a hamster rn, and I went to a big pet store to try to learn about them, get to know some, build some rodent connections, network, whatever...

Anyway, at the pet store all the info they posted was incorrect, according to what experts and people really familiar with hamsters online are saying.

Apparently, for a hamster not to be stressed (which is what I want, I want a happy, healthy, content hamster) they need to be housed individually, in at least 700 sq inch enclosure. Pretty much less that 2% of the hamster enclosures you see for sale online, and in stores have even 600 square inches of floor space, nvm 700. I can't believe "humanity", I really can't. It"'s like nobody gives a shit about anything?!

Anyway ,Happy TG to those who celebrate it.

I find this with pet shops in general, fish are a good example, over crowded tanks or single fish in bowls that are too small etc. General pet stores imo are the worst place to buy a pet

do you (or anyone else) know of another place to buy hamsters?

A lot of times people tell me to go to Facebook Marketplace for stuff, but I haven't had a Facebook account in about 15 years. I'm not signing up for one, so that's not an option either.

I am sure hamster breeders are a thing. outside of fb marketplace I would think craigslist you might be able to find them, or just try a google "hamster breeders in my area" and hope that you dont get modified ads of the "hot singles in your area" 😂
