Fake viewer bots on Chaturbate are back

Just so everyone knows, the fake viewer bots on Chaturbate are back and CB system that previously banned them instantly doesn't seem to work any more.

So if you are wondering why in the past two weeks it takes you forever to reach your average position on CBhrs or your room suddenly became empty here's why.

In the past couple of days I found a few models (I'm sure there are many more) that are again using the fake viewer bots and one of them with a handful of colors gets even 5000 viewers in about 1 hour after starting her broadcast (previously highest page 5 according to CBhrs and average 150 viewers). So be prepare for more of these scammers to come if CB team doesn't do anything about them.

@punkerbarbie can you report this issue to the tech team so they improve their system to detect scam please?

Previously they were including these viewers, then they stopped including them for a few months or so, and now they're including them again.

If someone has something with you they can also put bots in your room. I belive the problem should be solved by the IT team rather than to ban models

They are. I compared their positions on the site with the CB hours page.

The issue isn't new. Same thing happened back in March-April 2025.

And it's not about the top rooms with 10k+ viewers because that's pop up advertising CB is doing for traffic. Top models seem genuine apart from one model. I won't post her name her here as the models on this forum will eat me alive for destrying her reputation.

The site is going to change for everyone very soon as the scam rooms are going to multiply super quickly like they were last year.

I just found another model starting cheating as of today. She just startes the show and in basically no time with 8 viewers she's on page 1 ranked 95 in the female section. Come on!

What? I have never seen CB stop counting viewers from affiliate sites.

Up until a week or two ago, the most members I'd see in a room were around 11k. Usually the "big viewer" average was 5-6k. Now I see models with 23k+ viewers. And if you check it, at least 20k out of them are anons. The rest are actual members of all tiers (imagine, 3-4k out of those). Did anything change in February that I grossly missed?

I am a tgirl model, and in the last month something changed.
There are models with thousands of viewers, but..nosense.. then I stream for hours and my viewers now are range 30-40..when weeks ago my avarage was 200-300..

In the last 7 days things got even worse that they were in January. Sadly I'm not the top model any more lol and going above #50th place is very rare for me in the past 2 months.

There are more and more models that used to have around 40-70 viewers in their rooms and suddenly in the past days they have 9-10k+ viewers and are top models now. Oh and they don't even have as many colors as the rooms way below them.

As seen on CBhrs page an average genuine room needs around 300 viewers (depending on the time slot) to reach page 1 and they have a decent number of purples in them.

From CB:

Some rooms have recently shown higher viewer numbers. This is not related to bot activity. The increase is tied to a recent update in how viewer counts are calculated. We now include viewers coming from certain partner placements and preview sources, which does result in actual higher total viewer count than before.

This adjustment does not meaningfully displace other rooms, aside from occasional minor ranking shifts. We are very ecxited because early data indicates that including the higher view count is increasing overall engagement and bringing more activity to the site. We anticipate that further development to this process will enable us to cause a greater dispersion of views that were always being brought to the site from other traffic sources, but not being counted.

Cb does not have suddenly so much more registered members so all those viewers used to hang around in other rooms.
That's why other rooms now have less viewers.

@smoker919 these high numbers of viewers in top rooms that started some day in January do nothing to other rooms in terms of their ranks and the viewer counts.

Unfortunately, I can't find any better screen shot of old CB front page that would show top rooms with 15k-20k viewers. But these numbers were normal back in 2020 and I myself used to have up to 15k-18k viewers when ranked #1.

So support is right. These huge numbers of anons aren't related to bot activity (the post I made here wasn't about it at all). These anons are just put in the biggest rooms by Chaturbate and they just sit there.

As support claims they (huge number of anons) sit there as "the higher view count is increasing overall engagement and bringing more activity to the site." But how? I'd argue here. Most of the rooms are quiter than ever now and when you check the earnings for top rooms on statebate you can see they've worsened in the last month. In my opinion these anons just do nothing. They don't influence real users to either tip more or chat more.

Personally these anons don't bother me and the post I made here isn't about those anons or increased viewer counts in top rooms.

The viewer bots some models are now using to appear on page 1 is the problem being discussed here.

Most of them (scammers) usually take between #50-100th positions on page 1, have around 100-300 viewers in total and get mixed with genuine rooms so nobody sees they're cheating. There are even a few rooms that manage to go above 300 viewers and reach 10k+ viewers eventually.

How to identify them? They don't have as many registered users in their rooms as other rooms on page 1 and one can see a spectacular shift in their rankings on Chaturbate that happened over night (CBhrs page shows it). After months of taking positions 1000th+ they suddenly appear on page 1 and are ranked 2nd-100th. These scammers have ***invisible registered viewers*** put in their rooms to trick CB algorithm.

And this is exactly the reason why you guys have a decreased number of viewers and worse positions. These rooms took yours or other people's positions and pushed everyone down.

That's unfair competition.

As I noticed about a week ago some of the scammers that I am following were removed from page 1 and shifted back to their real positions. Some of them are still cheating and that's probably because there are a few viewer bots service providers available and they use different techniques to cheat the system.

In reference to the below screen shots Chaturbate changed the algorithm again a few days ago. I don't know if they changed it to fight fake viewer bots or for some other reason. But at least some scammers are gone for a while.

Your screenshots appear to be advice from one of the fake traffic providers to someone paying for that 'service'.
They're refunding payments for fake traffic because they're no longer effective. Curious where you got those screenshots from?
CB may have done something to block identified fake traffic but doesn't necessarily mean they changed the ranking algorithm.

I wonder what kind of increased engagement CB has noticed. From what I've seen, it's mostly comments from non-tippers that are constantly bringing up the big viewer counts. "OMG 15,000 viewers. Guys if we all tip 1 token, we'll hit all the tip goals instantly." *Proceeds to tip 0 tokens*

CB hrs page shows the exact order of all models ranked according to the number of registered viewers in their rooms.

Statebate has just done an amazing update where one now can see how many and what colors there are in your room without anonymous viewers when online.

I just took my favorite scammer as an example here to show she uses invisible registered viewers in her room that trick the CB algorithm and help her get to the top easily. She's online now with 12k viewers and is ranked #9 on CB hrs page. Right after her models ranked #12 and #13 ob CB hrs. They have a larger number of registered viewers in their rooms right now yet they are ranked lower than her. Looks like she has at least 300 invisible registered viewers in her room right now + 190 her real ones that enabled her to pass the genuine room with 450 real viewers.

Last April after CB banned her viewer bots she was shifted back to her real position somewhere on page 3 or 4. But in January 2026 she came back as a top model again.
Her viewer bots creator is just a genius as he just manages to bring her up to place #3 on the whole site without CB noticing it. And this model doesn't even have a decent number of tippers.

So guys please stop reporting the rooms with high numbers of anonumous viewers in them as it's the very CB that puts them in the rooms by themselves for their own reasons.

Invisible users effect the ranking and they are the problem causing unfair competition on Chaturbate.
