I think everyone on our broadcast hates us literally. I had one viewer tell my husband his singing sucks and another complain about how much jewlry I wear and another blocked us for no reason after scheduling a private show with us all in the same night. I thought that a modling platform like this would be filled with love as I tried to make the envoronment romantic. I played romantic music and hung a Valentines Day banner up. My husband and I were as athentic, polite and respectful as possible toward our viewers but yet they are all rude to us. My jewlry is fake. I wear very cheap jewlry that only looks expensive only on the broadcast and no where else. The jewlry tarnishes so I replace with new every month. I didn't even use the viewers money. I used my own money from personal checks I recieve externally. I only wear the jewlry to attract viewers not to show off or gold dig like they may possibly think. I am not a gold digger. I told my poor husband he does a good job and that viewer is just jealous that he is with me and not the viewer. I hear allot tell my husband he is a lucky man and that makes my husband experience feelings of inaduquacy. I aso provide discounts now and then and do free in public on special hollidays so I cant be too much of a gold digger if thats what they think. No one tipped us this entire week. I explain to the viewers that on regular days there are no discounts or free shows. What have I dont so terribly wrong to make all viewers hate us so much. :(

Unfortunately no matter what website you're creating content on, there's going to be hate comments. It seems like this is amplified on adult entertainment sites. I block anyone who comes in with negative comments; their money isn't worth it if their negative comments are going to stick with you. People who want to stir up drama or get a performer banned will nitpick anything.

I know and thats what i'm afraid of because its not just one viewer its almost all of them which makes me think they conspired together against us to get us kicked off. Why? We havent done anything to them accept enforce the rules and set boundaries. Again I feel single targeted. I was about ready to start banning them all because I was getting very angry with them. I also gave them a fair verbal warning that they will get banned if anyone else wants to make a rude comment and then I clear the comments. I will not tolerate rude viewers on our broadcast.

It could be the same person on multiple accounts. If you still have your new tag there are some users that try to bother new accounts on purpose. If it feels like too much to moderate, then maybe take note of common words they use and ban those words from your chat using the chat settings. I have some insulting words banned. You can also set it so that only accounts with tokens can chat.

Ok, not really sure why your husband is feeling inadequate because they are telling him he's a lucky man to be with you. They're just trying to flatter you while putting themselves down. It could be any man in the world by your side and they'd say the same thing. Now if they're telling YOU you're lucky to have him, that's just negging and weird.

As for rude people -- you have to remember a lot of these guys are the furthest thing from stone cold sober when they're flipping tokens around the site and bullies beget bullies. Ban. Ban. Ban. Ban. There's no penalty for banning viewers -- other than your follower count may suffer a bit.

Every time you ban one name on site, it takes all known accounts for that user with it.

Don't let greys chat. Ever. They're worthless. They don't convert and letting them run your room is a bad idea.

If you can, try a different time of day to broadcast. See if that helps.

I get hate too. It's just part of working in this industry, I'm afraid. I have people come into my room to tell me how much they hate the British accent. Like...ok.

I laugh at this because I am also British and honestly, guys doing that to try insult me would just make me laugh at them rather than be offended.
But in reality, no matter what you are doing, especially online you will always get people being rude and nasty just "because". Always ignore them + ban them, don't waste your time or energy on these kinds of people, and if it's greys, turn off the grey chat - never good to have them on anyway since they spam and make the tippers leave.

Also, i understand where your husband is coming from about feeling inadequate, maybe like he is punching, but that really doesn't matter based on other peoples opinion on the internet, so just tell him to ignore them or just accept the compliments they are saying for him about having a beautiful partner. There is really nothing for him to feel bad about in this, at worst, just ignore those comments.

Of course, if every member in the room tells you that your husband's singing is shite then maybe his singing is actually shite. Sometimes it's easy to look for conspiracies where they don't exist.

*Hugs* I'm sorry about the assholes. Miserable people suck, and blurt out weird, rude shit for attention. Happens all the time on Facebook and YouTube too.
Also people love to talk shit on the internet (that they wouldn't say to your face), because they get hide behind their anonymity.

This just randomly came to mind...but I'm chuckling right now thinking about that time some clown came into my free chat on MyFreeCams (I think while I was naked), and immediately started complaining about the fact that my then-bedroom had pink walls. 😂 Er, uh...you're worrying about the wrong "pink walls," my dude! :giggle: I said that I find it strange for a so-called heterosexual man to be on a cam site...with titties and ass on his computer screen...being butthurt about the color of my bedroom walls, instead of appreciating/enjoying the titties and ass in his face. Lmao. What the fuck, dude.....

Hello @MeAbc

I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. The advice shared above is solid—consider switching greys to silent, and don’t hesitate to use the ban function when needed. It’s often not productive to try to reason with users who are intentionally being disrespectful. Engaging with them can unintentionally encourage further boundary-pushing, both from them and from others watching.

It’s also important to remember that, for some users, provoking a reaction is the goal, and is their fetish. The most effective approach is to avoid giving them that response—ignore, ban, and report when appropriate, rather than arguing or offering repeated chances.

When you stay consistent and firm with your boundaries, you’ll find that the majority of users on the platform are respectful, supportive, and genuinely kind people ❤️.

No one tipped us this entire week.

. What have I dont so terribly wrong to make all viewers hate us so much. :(

If it makes you feel better, you’re not doing anything wrong. New laws in most states prevent men from accessing the site without uploading ID and most men aren’t going to do that. I’ve experienced a 30k loss last year due to that as well as the tanking economic situation. There are some days now where I don’t make $30 and i can sit there all day vs a few years ago when i was making 3-600$ daily. It’s almost impossible for a model without a huge following to make anything anymore. It’s not you.

As for the hate comments, we all get them. A lot. I have 150k subs and some days, hate is ALL I get. Just block, move on, and wait for your tipper.

Late to this but — when personal life overlaps with public-facing work, the audience doesn't see just the product, they form opinions about the whole person. That's a lot to manage.

Blocking greys does work. However, some greys are able to get past the block because Stripchat awards them with a free 50 token giveaway and sometimes without Stripchat's knowlage spambots end up with the prize tokens and I have to block them as well. Our broadcast has been booming lately and I think it's because I finally purchased the Lovense 4 and its exciting now and we have had a rare normal down to earth person on our broadcast. The exciting moments are when real celeberties ocassionallly visit us. I think we gained popularity when celebs visited our broadcast because our pay rate raized significantly. I have had viewers that complement us and tell us they love us and that we are their favorite. Camming isn't always bleak. It can be such an enjoyable experience as well. :h:

I highly doubt Spambots will get the tokens and use them because there is a 2-step process to it.
You have to click the bottom of the chat so it shows the contest, which then you must click to opt-in, and then finally click again at the end of the contest to see the winners and claim your 50 tokens (if you won).

I am sure it's possible to make a bot do it, but I truly doubt anyone would.
Are you sure it's not just dumb people? There are a lot of genuine/real greys who are just dumb etc and may seem to be a bot

I have noticed that for awhile after a fair warning when I acually ban disrespectful viewers seems to minimise rude behaviors on our broadcast because they know we dont tolerate them. Based on my observations I notice that there are more respectful viewers that acually enjoy our broadcast. The weirdos and disrespectful viewers are tapering off. I also do not tolerate freeloading and the viewers know this so they dont make that kind of attempt as much now,

None of the spambots used any tokens. I can just tell they have won because they were grey users for awhile and then suddenly they were bronze. They never do use the tokens probably for the very reason you stated. I know they are spambbots because the same person pitched the same line twice and when we ask them questions the answers are inconsistant with the questions we asked so we banned them permanantly.

No, this doesn't make them turn bronze if they win the contest.
The greys remain grey. They must purchase tokens not win them to turn bronze.

Thats why I enjoy that song by the Doors "People are strange" lol. I once had a viewer not too long ago waste his tokens in an exclusive cam show just to get nosy rather than have us perform enjoyable sex.

I totally agree 100%. Greys seriously spam in a crazed manner! I learned my lesson when I was new to Stripchat!! I had several of them flood the chat with verbal insults so I adjusted the settings to block all greys.

I thought the greys did turn bronze when awarded tokens. The spambot must have been coded to appear bronze.

I happen to love the British accent. To me a British accent appears kind and gentle. It is probably based on a past memory I experienced when whatching a show where a person spoke in a british accent and was a kind thoughtful person. I guess not everyone had a good experience with people that have a British accent.

Was it Hyacinth Bucket?

I thought our British accent always meant we’re usually cast as villains in movies!

You know I didn't understand why my husband took that as an insult either. I always thought it was a complement. I explained this to my husband and he now thanks our viewers for the complement.

Haters gonna hate! I definitely think there’s a big population of incels in the cam viewing community who express their loser-ness in chat. Consider how pathetic of a hobby that really is. They are not entertaining enough to stream, not interesting enough to have a partner, likely jealous of both of you, and haven’t found anything more fulfilling to do with their time like read a damn book, learn to draw, or fix up the basement they are gooning in their parents’ house in. 🤨

For me, greys are good for one thing only: reccs for TV/movies/music (not books; those are foreign items to most greys lol) and I only let them chat occasionally if I’m bored wanting to liven up chat briefly or seeking some new tunes for my playlist. This way I can at least get something from them, even if it’s just info. You can still greet them and ask questions, they are just gonna need tokens to answer them. I relish asking a grey how they are knowing they can’t answer without buying tokens. 🤣

Good luck girl, it’s likely not you, men are wild these days and hating even harder as women are on to the games they play.

Are you comfy streaming solo? Might be worth a try if so, it can be a different experience.

I acually did cam solo when I first started but now my husband wont allow me to cam solo anymore. The hubby wants to be part of the action and tells me that he doesn't feel comfortable when I cam alone. I think he feels he is missing out on all the action and I think he feels threatened by the other men. I dont want those other men and explained he is the only one for me. In addition to this Stripchat no longer allows account holder switching and the card holder is in my husband's name. I'm no longer permitted to cam alone on Stripchat. Even if my husband was comfortable I wouldn't be able to cam alone because the account sign up is a nightmare and it is very diffacult to get approved. ID's are hard to focus on cam. Its either too much glare, not enough light or too blurry. My husband has been trying to get couples that are into swinging but its mostly single men on our broadcast and I noticed that on other model's broadcasts as well.

I have read quite a few places that single ladies earn more than couples. I understand a lot of partners can’t handle their partner cramming in their own. I think it’s a shame that to you are “not allowed” but I’m not in your relationship, so it’s your choice whether to put up with this from a partner. Hopefully he can pay the bills other ways if he feels entitled to make these sorts of rules?

Given what you’ve said I have to wonder why are you camming? If for $$ you can do better streaming mostly solo and using him as a special guest star for some shows and for content, and he can still be your chat mod/watch/encourage tippers if he doesn’t want to miss out. A full time assistant to help film you and repost content is so valuable (my late husband used to do this and it worked great for us, but he didn’t have a bone of jealousy so YMMV.)

If for fun, maybe try a different site or a different plan for your shows? Like just having a fun chat and having your fun together. How long have you been at it as a couple and have you been consistent enough to build a community within your audience? Just some things to consider, I wish you the best! Husbands don’t know everything LOL

Also … it’s not that hard to sign up as you describe. I can advise some low-glare ways to photo your ID if you choose to do so, I am sure SC admin could help you set up this sort of solo account: it’s not terribly uncommon. Who told you this wasn’t possible?

Unless they have changed it, definitely not. It has to be a purchase of tokens for them to turn bronze.
Hopefully after the weekend someone such as @Elira_SC or @Stella_SC can confirm or deny if it's still like this or not
