Let’s improve Stripchat together!

Stripchat is continually growing, and to ensure productive development, we want to know your opinion about the project.

This is the official thread where you can talk about the options and new features you would like to see on Stripchat in the future.

Please, share your opinion here, and let us know what you would like to improve.

This applies to everyone: models, studios, and of course, users

No idea where else to put this - after 3 years on SC I thought it’d be fun to put a profile pic up. It keeps getting denied.

It’s literally just me at a food festival in South Wales two years ago, wearing a t shirt and having a drink. Same as my WhatsApp.

Why is it getting rejected every time?!

I had this issue too and tried multiple photos that I truly couldn't see a problem with. I also gave up and switched to a Butterfly.. that seemed to be allowed so i dont think it can be an issue with an animal. Maybe the design itself could be seen as having copyright and trademark issues?

It just seemed odd to me - obviously they didn’t give a proper reason. There are members with photos of their cocks as profile pics 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought that t shirt on Brick Lane in London and follow the illustrator on IG - could be copyright but they were so instantaneous to reject it, it can’t be that.

One thing I have suggested before I think.
I know other cam sites allow this and I am unsure why SC doesn't but when buying with Crypto, allow us to select a custom amount to purchase. Even CB has this option and it's very useful.

Can you please make it so we can leave a review (comment) upto 24 hours AFTER our private show?
Maybe one reason many don't leave a review is because you may be a bit "messy" (for a lack of better term), and need to go tidy up/wash or whatever... as soon as you close that popup, you can't get it back.

Im 50/50 on this
There often are laggs happening after a pvt so that and the messy reason you gave are good points

But as a model i have to say i check my average rating after a pvt because some guys say ALL AMAZING AND YAY but still leave bad ratings/reviews, many do so anonymously and checking right afterwards is the only way to find out who must have given less stars (afaik). I put notes to not accept privates by those users to protect myself. And while sometimes it might be for a reason many guys just are pissed if we dont do one specific thing (lets say anal - which in my case is written everywhere that i wont do it) but they still think they can talk us into it.

last point removed because i dont want to get in trouble.

I think the best option would be extend the window, remove anonymous reviews and change it to "don't display my username publicly", that way users keep their anonymity from public viewing but the model can see who left the review, I dont see why the model knowing who left a review would be an issue as they would already know they had the pvt. Could be I am overlooking the reason why some people leave reviews annon though

I don’t remember seeing an option for an ‘anonymous review’ unless that’s super new? I assumed they’re already publicly anonymous on StripChat - and only the model can see who left it.

It’s an interesting point - I recently saw a new member get (light-heartedly) scolded by a model for not leaving a five-star review for a private the day before. He then asked how he could retrospectively leave one.

I'm not sure, i assumed it was an option to be annon, but it could just be the default of how it works.

I think it’s just the default for public but models can still see who left the review.
Reviews can be made that we as models cant see who left them, for ratings without writing we even have no way to see who rated us what which for me made me not do privates at all for a long time. This is from my profile, logged in on my model Account, definitely possible and i dont like that at all. Anonymous for public sure but if someone has the chance to harm me i want to know who it is.

(As said in previous reply thats why i always check after a pvt because if someone thinks im less than 5 stars in privates i dont want to do privates with them)

Got it, understand now. Thanks for sharing.

My apologies - I did not realise that was the case and to stay anonymous for a review was an option for members - evidently it is!

How odd.

Are you sure that's not the user called anonym? Just seems odd to shorten Anonymous to Anonym

Edit: just asking, I don't know much about stripchat at all

No one should be able to leave an anonymous review for the model. Anonymous for public but the model should always be able to see who is doing what that effects the private rating. They should know who the asshole is that leaves one star because they refused to do something clearly stated on their page they do not do or is a violation of rules. I am sure some do it just as a way to "hurt" a model after being turned down for something they already knew the model would not do. Most of the models I have/am knight for on SC do not do anal and they deal with this BS all the time from guys.

I want to hear that "point" .... send me a PM.. lol

I firmly believe that models should have the right to see the username of anyone leaving a feedback score or review - be it positive, neutral, or negative.
And the platforms should support that too.
As well as holding members to account for their ratings, that would also allow the model to communicate withe the viewer if they wanted to to try to resolve any misunderstandings.
And as @Schnauzevoll wrote, be aware of any difficult users with whom they have history.

Unless you're doing thirty privates a day, and maybe some people are, isn't it kind of easy to figure out?

I asked ChatGPT...

"is it beneficial or harmful for a model to know who gave her a negative review on adult cam sites?

It depends on what you mean by "beneficial," and on how that information is used.

If an adult cam model knows which specific user left a negative review:

Potential benefits:

  • They can identify patterns in feedback (for example, if a particular customer consistently complains about the same issue).
  • They may be able to resolve misunderstandings with a legitimate customer, if the platform allows it.
  • They can identify bad-faith reviewers or users who repeatedly harass performers, if the platform has reporting mechanisms.
Potential harms:

  • It can increase stress or anxiety by making criticism feel more personal.
  • It may encourage confrontations between performers and reviewers, which can escalate conflict.
  • It can expose performers to targeted harassment if identifying information is shared.
  • It may discourage honest reviews if customers know they can be identified.
Many platforms try to balance these concerns by:

  • Allowing anonymous or pseudonymous reviews.
  • Letting performers respond publicly without revealing private information.
  • Moderating reviews that violate community guidelines.
  • Providing ways to report abusive or fraudulent reviews.
From a platform design perspective, many privacy and trust experts favor limiting the amount of identifying information shared while still giving performers enough context to address legitimate issues. That can help preserve honest feedback while reducing opportunities for retaliation or harassment.

So whether it's beneficial or harmful isn't a simple yes-or-no answer. It can be useful for quality improvement and abuse prevention, but it also carries risks for privacy, emotional well-being, and conflict if identities are disclosed too freely."
