I just got a new model, and she's still under her 30-day promotion, but she's not getting any viewers. She is active and can spend enough time broadcasting. I was thinking maybe it's a shadow ban, like on other social media platforms where if you post something, it doesn't get any views or very few compared to usual. What can I do to make my broadcast better? • Sorry to hear that.

Hello @spce

Welcome to Sinwithme_luv! We’re very happy to have her on Stripchat! ❤️

We actually never shadow ban models. There would be absolutely no benefit to us, our models, or our users in doing so. If a model violates our rules, we address it with a warning, suspension, or permanent ban depending on the situation.

At this point, she has only been camming for 4 days, which simply isn’t enough time to expect a large number of viewers to discover her—especially if she didn’t already have an established audience on social media or elsewhere that she could bring over to her first few streams.

That said, there are a few general tips I’d recommend to her, or to anyone who is new to camming:

  • Be consistent! Building an audience takes time, and consistency helps viewers know when to find you.
  • Finish setting up your profile. Add panels, photo albums, videos, and anything else that helps viewers get to know you and gives them a reason to explore your profile when you’re offline.
  • Prioritize excellent lighting. Good lighting can make a huge difference in how your room looks and how professional it feels.
  • Invest in interactive toys. They can be a great addition to your room and, in many cases, pay for themselves pretty quickly.
  • Do shows and activities you genuinely feel comfortable with. When you’re comfortable and confident, it naturally comes across on camera—and that can make a huge difference in how viewers connect with you.
Most importantly, give it time. Every successful model had to start somewhere, and building a loyal audience doesn’t happen overnight. ❤️

My broadcast is sometimes dead for hours and sadly lowers my strip score and other times its lively. Hopefully your new model's broadcast will pick up over time. I didn't have much buisness at all when I first started. I have learned that viewers absalutely love setting off my lush. Viewers have become dependent on the lush. I noticed that many of them were bummed when my lush 3 stopped working so I purchased the lush 4 and buisness picked up for me and I started earning a little bit more. Viewers were so excited when I started using the lush 4 and could not wait to set it off.

Just checked the stream - they’re online now.

Low quality video/audio. Jittering to the point it looks less than 30fps. There’s never 5 seconds of smoothness.

Also, no Lovense toy.

The main issue is stream quality.

Your right about this. Viewers will be disinterested if you have poor quality camming equipment and poor lighting. When I first started camming all I had was built in Microsoft webcam and no additional lighting which was grainly and shadowy with a distorted realtech audio and viewers complained that they couldn't see well and I appeared blurry to them. One viewer said he was not going to visit my cam or tip me until I improve the quality of my live stream. That is when I made a decision to purchase a lovense webcam with much sharper imaging and a camera light. I used ring lights and the viewers started coming around and tipping allot more then they have when I first started. That viewer came back and was pleased that I improved the lighting and cam equipment. My next step was to purchase a lovense lush and that seemed to help tremendously. It is also budget friendly. The ring light only cost $$15 to $30 and has helped improve buiness.
