Chaturbate is rolling out some exciting updates for our creator community.

We are going to post new updates here on ACF as they become available.

It can take a moment to translate when enabled but it does work - a button on the right shows (a little icon) which you can click to show original, so you switch between it. I saw it yesterday when some moderator was speaking russian to a model, and it definitely worked. It may have been because the room had a lot going on (60,000 users + lots of bots/apps too) and thats why it took a little while to load the translation, but otherwise it was useful to have for sure

Haven't tried it yet, but interested to see if the translation also converts things like tip menus and other notifiers, or if it's only for text entered by users.

Maybe they could do similar to what forums have for censored words, so when someone types something, it censors and changes it to whatever you told it to, that could be a good alternative lol

I have one of those. I assure you it did not go over well at all. People were actually like "stop doing that". I may run it again at some point.

Banning someone removes them from your follower count. Silencing them does not.

I'm aware of that. Banning also removes any thumbs up or thumbs down that person has given you in the last 90 days. I'm just saying that the idea of an extremely short ban is weird, and the idea of an extremely long silence is weird.

The hell it does. I banned every person who gave me a down vote. It's not hard for me to figure out and nothing changed on my numbers.

oooo I did a payout request and the email changed a little for the payout sent. The email states I should see it by Sunday. This would be a first to receive a Chaturbate payout on a weekend. Fingers crossed!

I don't think so. I just received two payout emails. One says by Sunday the 13th and the other says by Tuesday the 15th. I've already received the one that says Sunday. (I assume you do ACH.) It's just a template count of [x] number of days from the payout request/issue.

Also keep in mind that this Monday is a holiday in the U.S. (Labor Day), so U.S. banks will be closed that day.

Yeah I was seeing this yesterday and I kind of like it I must admit. And I am glad it only shows over the CHAT, not the video, which makes it much more convenient.

Great that they now give models the option to choose actions!
I realised they'd made some changes, when I reported a user for rude comments directed at the broadcaster, and it automatically silenced them as soon as I submitted the report.

Were you a moderator when you did this? Moderators reporting messages can silence in the same workflow.

I was (still am) a fan club member, so i was surprised that reporting the comments also triggered a silence.
Maybe it was a glitch?

In the "New Look" also the country filter is back.
This still gives strange effects

you can select models by region and in that region you can select models by country .... if they have their flag set ...

if i go to my following page i have some Colombians , with flag set and a few euro/russian without flag and some north Americans

now i can select south America and see the results (and than also select colombia)

But i can not select euro/Russian even when i have euro/Russian models online , the option is greyed out because non of them have a flag
If i have only 1 model euro/russian with a flag online i can use the option and see the others too

The solution can be very simple , create a country "undisclosed" for every region so you can still search on it

(or just don't grey-out the other options)

IMO it would be good if we could opt for a Europe flag or something as a model

Some countries in Europe are so small that it'd be similar as disclosing your State as a US model, and NA models are not forced to get that close/specific either.. Even though Washington VS Florida is as different from eachother as England and Malta

in fact , there is . It's your broadcast region and they should be able to set it in the system when you have no flag selected.

you can get a problem when a south american is living in north america but no system is perfect

I noticed that the last thumbnail image from when the broadcast ended now stays visible for about 2 days thereafter, rather than a few hours.
I hoped that meant the same extended period would apply to the sitewide search function, unfortunately that's not the case.
So just a few hours after the broadcast ended, a search for the model's exact room name still doesn't show that room, just similar suggestions.
Maybe the devs could review that?
