How do these promotional pages even get all the followers they do? Or is it a giant ring of promotional sites following each other? I just don't see how they have enough pull to be worth any model's time.

I've seen it so often it doesn't play phase me, and yeah I figured they likely bought them. What annoys me is when promoters try for free shows for it's/promotion. Sadly they do this pretty often. On the topic of promo twitters:
There ARE some good ones. Since I started using promo accounts again I have definitely not only gotten more twitter followers, but people from twitter coming to my room and my MV. It's also a great way to build a following on a new twitter account. The best way to go about it is to get featured on promo accounts, because a lot of them spam their timeline and you can often be overlooked by just being retweeted (or some people follow for follow and turn the retweets completely off).

But you have to be careful who you use, some promo accounts try (and succeed) in getting free services from camgirls in exchange for just twitter promotion. This is NEVER okay. It's also easy to see how many fake followers someone has. This guy actually has a better score than I do!

BUT If you look at how many people he is following it makes sense because he's following about as many people as are following him. A lot of these promo accounts spam-follow/spam-unfollow to get a good following base. I'm sure some of them buy followers, but it's really easy to tell who does and who doesn't. In my experience anything from ~65% and up are fine and probably not buying followers, any lower than that and then things get a little iffy. I think the most important thing with promo accounts are looking at how many favs and retweets they get regardless of followers (be careful though, favs and retweets can be purchased too).

Last night I had the worst scammer *ever* in my room. I dunno how he could thought that the plot made by him made any sense?

He created this account an hour ago and named it (camsite)AccountChecking. Wrote me a message that he needs my login and password. I banned him and he... came back. He wrote another message in German that he needs my password because there were some problems with SEPA last time (no, there weren't).

I banned him once again because it's all I could do. He came back one more time saying that I cannot ban support from my chatroom and he will now ban my account if I did not give him my password.

I told him I'll contact real support then. I took screenshots and wrote to the support but he could be active for couple of hours before support took actions and banned him (it was late at night and they don't work 24/7).

Probably he was using stolen card or money that he's stolen from other performer to lure more girls into this, as I woke up to chargeback and his ass finally banned.
