Hey there,
I'm a model on mfc and Chaturbate. Lately I have felt kind of depressed and lethargic. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's super discouraging when I do not have that much energy and people keep leaving the rooms. My boyfriend has been doing some research as well and he says that I don't have to try so hard... is it enough that I am just showing up? I am going crazy, just trying to read books, look sexy, move around occasionally. But it's exhausting and I feel like I might have a meltdown... I even have some games set up.

I usually have a bubbly and appealing personality, but the bills are kind of a priority right now so I'm just showing up as much as possible, emotionally and physically. Any advice is appreciated. I was a dancer for 5 years and you showed up, gave it some effort and if no one liked you it wasn't your fault... at least you tried and had fun doing it! This seems a bit more complicated then that, but I'm recovering from a car accident and just trying to make ends meet.... HELP, please!

Diversifying into clips to lighten whatever financial burden you have to meet might help. I always felt better on cam when I wasn't desperate for money.

Thank you JickyJuly, I appreciate the feedback. I was thinking that too, since it's income that you can make and not have to put forth too much effort or pressure to make money. People just buy it if they like it and that's that. I'd really like to make this a career so I know I'll have to study more and stay confident that I can do this. No one wants to help others who are desperate because it shows that they are only in it for themselves, so I'm trying not to bring that to the table... *fingers crossed*

One of the things that has worked best for me insofar as camming goes is to 'keep it real' about how I'm feeling. If I've had a bad day, sometimes I'll flat out say it. I don't expound on it or get negative or anything like that, but being honest with your fans goes a long way in that it realizes the fact that you ARE a real person. I've found that most good fans want to feel like they are interacting with a real personality, one that fluctuates like a normal person would. Otherwise, it's no different than porn, which is free. People pay us because of the intimacy and tangibility we offer.

That said, remember to take care of yourself. Yes, camming might pay your bills, but don't be afraid to take a day off if you 'aren't feeling it'. Many days, I wake up and am just not in the mood. If it's bad enough, I just take the day off. I have a lot of things running in the background that generate passive income - OnlyFans, my Twitter, selling gym briefs...all of these things don't require my 'presence' like camming does and helps me afford these aforementioned 'off days'.

Hope you feel better!

Thank you so much! I kept it real with clients in the club as well. They liked me and came back for more. I understand it is hard to get started, so I am trying to push myself to work as much as possible and not complain. I have felt discouraged and I know I can succeed if I put my mind to it. I think I'll start OnlyFans and ManyVids to help supply income. I've thought about making my twitter private, but I get so much exposure from people already I feel that might hinder my chances.
Thanks for the encouragement TexMuscleJock!

Hey Ramona! Do you do any Snapchat? Charge a monthly fee for access to make recurring income. I recommend Fancentro because they have a network of affiliates who can help promote your snapchat.
=> https://fancentro.com/home

As far as CB, I think the most important thing is to have a regular schedule, and post the schedule in your bio. Post on twitter when you will be plan to be online and when you actually go online. I would also make a Tumblr page, post to it automatically using https://ifttt.com - IF This Then That - If you post to twitter, it will post to your Tumblr. Great service.

Also, don't forget to take advantage of the CB affiliate program. If someone joins CB thru your affiliate link, you will earn 20% of everything they spend on CB ever, for life! I recommend buying your .Com name ($9/yr. at NameSilo) then forward the domain name to your CB room affiliate link, that way whenever you post 'ramonaflowerz.com' or whatever, you're actually posting your affiliate link to your room. You can do the same thing with MFC affiliate prog. Just buy the name RamonaMFC.com then forward it to your mfc affiliate link to your room. See my signature for the link, they outsourced it to CrakRevenue.

Hope this helps ☺

I understand girl when I'm in a mood I honestly try to take the night off. Because I find when I'm upset I never make any money. But when I rested and I'm in a good mood I make so much more. I make way more and it's like night and day. I think the clips is a great idea it's probably your best bet for money and it's super easy and you don't have to worry about the pressure of members coming in and out of your room. I really enjoy making Clips it's like my favorite thing to do. I probably I make more clips now than I cam.hang in there ! ♥️

I TOTALLY get what you're going though, I felt the same way when I first started camming regularly. I found myself feeling this kind of depressed/ashamed emotion and it was definitely because I thought I was giving a whole show for a lot less tips than I would have liked and I drained myself so much emotionally and physically for so little reward. Once I stopped trying so hard to get tips and just did what I liked to do, the tips started coming in naturally. My best advice to you is to do what makes you happy and if you're having an off day, just hang out and enjoy yourself and don't even worry about the tips you get; viewers want to see you happy and genuinely enjoying what you're doing. The tips will come on their own if you be yourself and remember to be friendly with those that do stick around.

Thank you for the encouragement, that means a lot! It's slow again and I'm here to get some knowledge. I gotta stick with it, I am sure it'll get better!

consistency, patience, and perseverance helps in the long run. the slow days will not last forever.

Thank you :h: I just broke down big time. I've made $80 within the last 4 days and each shift has been about 4 to 6 hours. Maybe I need to try earlier times. Everyone is telling me I'm doing nothing wrong. I think I will try to focus on making videos. Thanks again, really. I feel hugged and loved.

If your feeling overwhelmed by having to try to be "on" all the time maybe try a different site, something like streamate that is more private based. You could give it a try a couple of times a week to see how it goes for you and it would give you a break from mfc/cb. The last thing you want to do is burn yourself out, diversify your income and see what works best for you.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Some girls make it look easy but they have great networking skills to be able to build such a huge following that every time they go online they immediately have so many viewers x

From a viewer if you aren’t having fun and enjoying your show most of us won’t enjoy it either. Relax, enjoy your shows and things will get better I hope.

I generally agree with this. But, I will say that some can do a great job at hiding whatever is bothering them and still go on with the show. Not everyone can do this, and not consistently. There's some great advise in here in so far as ways to cope, as well as potentially seeing a therapist.

Sometimes it takes time to find your niche, and then for the viewers to trickle in. Find what you enjoy doing, and go with it. If it isn't bringing them in, you mihgt need to tweak something as well as posting to twitter, etc that you're coming online.

Best to you @RamonaFlow3rz
