They do not. There is nothing in TOS that says I have to pay attention to the user in private with no distractions whatsoever nor does it say models have to stop shows on other sites while doing privates on CB. Nor anything on this support page that says that, either.

"Private shows let you get your favorite broadcasters in a room to yourself." (https://support.chaturbate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035584832-What-is-a-private-show)

No, it doesn't explicitly say what a model has to do, but it does imply the expectation of exclusivity.

I figured you would cherry pick that one and that's why I didn't post it because that page doesn't detail the situation like the one I posted does. I'll give you that SC is crazy anal about the exclusivity part of their TOS, but Chaturbate is not and has never been like that.

My point is not about what a particular site will enforce but what a viewer's reasonable expectations are. Unless "private show" is synonymous with "group show" on particular site, OP's expectations that the model he's doing a private show with is giving him exclusive attention is not unreasonable. It is, though, a little naïve, and if he's not willing to have an explicit conversation with her about his expectations and to find out about her setup after a year then that's on him.

But he was on SC and there's an exclusive show option that he chose not to pay for that prevents this whole thing from being a thing in the first place.

He didn't say what site he was on, but let's say it was SC. If the model was also streaming on, say, CB, and kept her cam open there and continued accepting tips and requests there during the private show then it would reflect his concern. And before we say anything about SC's TOS, there are studios that require their models to keep CB open when they do privates on SC, even exclusive privates.

But he's complaining about the TOS portion of this situation. Not what studios are doing. Most viewers either aren't aware of studios or very quickly forget about them. At any rate, this is now circular and I'm out. Have a good night!

I think we're reading different messages because he doesn't once reference the TOS. His concern is that he feels like he doesn't know everything that the model knows and that her actions suggest that she's interacting with other viewers during his private show. This indeed happens all the time and he's 100% right to feel uneasy because it's probably the truth. Most viewers have not been exposed to the behind-the-scenes intricacies of modelling and she probably is interacting with other guys. What he needs to do, though, is have a direct conversation with the model and state his expectations and probably also do a little sleuthing on his own to find out the truth because...shocker...models don't always tell viewers everything.

And they shouldn't. Shocker. You often run afoul with me about how much you advocate for viewers over models, at least that's the way your choice of wording reads to me.
I think it’s a bit weird to suggest a viewer needs to do any “sleuthing”. Private show is over, move on and do other more productive or entertaining things.

I am a viewer first and foremost. OP -- a viewer -- raised a legitimate question and this thread was very quickly hijacked by models talking about their preferred ways of doing things and then misrepresenting the actual question that was asked.

If someone is going to make a significant time investment then they should know what they're actually getting into. That means doing their best to peel back the layers of often misinformation that viewers are often presented with. I'm not talking about finding out personal information about models, but, in this case, to at least understand if a model is streaming on 1 or 2 or 8 sites and how they deal with those interactions. Speaking from my own personal experience and from talking with other viewers, not knowing how things work behind the scenes can have long-term emotional costs because of exactly the kind of uncertainly that OP is expressing.

Addendum: Finding out how things work also includes, for example, determining if a model works for a studio or is independent and if they are communicating with viewers themselves or using operators. I don't have a problem with studios or operators per se, but not knowing often leads to grave misunderstandings.

You need therapy. It's porn. Stop overthinking it.

Models hijacking an “Ask A Model” thread with their experience is the point of this sub forum.
If any of the responses had actually addressed OP then that would be great. But @Vixxen81 has made it very clear that viewers' perspectives and concerns don't matter so we'll just leave it there.

lol yikes... I think this is being overthought as well. It's not that the viewers' perspectives don't matter, its just that if OP feels the way they feel about it, move on to another model. The first response in this thread is just that and it should totally suffice. We just went on a tangent because we starting thinking/chatting about what they may have been looking at.

Totally going too deep here.

PS. it was a fun little tangent lol

Nooooo

We’ve made it clear that this is an ask a model thread and we’ve shared our thoughts. Your posts have been over reaching as a “viewer who also makes cb apps”

Please see your way out.

The actual issue I'm having with the OP itself is that it comes off as wanting to shame the model publicly. Sure there may be a reasonable expectation of having a model's full attention, but they can always contact support if they feel a rule has been violated. This person just wanted their feelings validated that this model is doing something morally wrong when she probably wasnt.

I like it that Lily mentioned the term "fragile ego". Imo that term, nutshells most of this thread, as far as the non-existent problem we were all expected to waste our time on.

Idk model could have gotten a new set up. Maybe an additional monitor where she keeps her feed. I have dual monitors and been integrated at why im looking towards left. Its literally me. im looking at me to make sure my cunt and butthole is in frame.

She could be dual streaming, or distracted with RL. Idk hard to make a judgment on what shes doing based on looking somewhere different and smiling.

^This. I held off replying because it's posted in A-a-M, but when I read the original post I thought it was jumping to conclusions about where the model appeared to be looking.
As viewers, we have NO idea what the model's setup is, nor should we be wondering.
(And plenty of models have their camera image reversed, so what you see as left is actually right, anyway).

Private= other guys who may or may not get equal attention depending on whether or not they are in the room or in Spy Mode. If you don't pay for Exclusive then you can expect to split the models attention. However there are many reasons a model may look around that have nothing to do with other customers such as looking at herself to be sure she is in frame, multiple monitors, checking the timer etc.

I don’t have much experience with private chats, but I often notice that models send messages to me just seconds after I write to them, even when they are in private (exclusive) chat. If I continue writing, the pattern repeats, so my assessment is that this is quite normal.

But are these independent models or studio? Obviously a lot of studio models have helpers, who will be replying for them, so it could very well be the helpers replying to you while she is performing her show - unless you can see her replying to you and knows its her, and its on another site your chatting to her.

Yes, both independent and studios. I share the same thoughts. Even AI can do that very impressively, but we also have to recognize that some models can get away with just sitting on their phones all the time haha.

When it becomes funny is when it' seems more important to message a user in group chat than to actually perform properly in VIP.
Even more funny when a model is sitting at home calling and interrupting her friend at work during peak hours just to get the latest updates about a specific user.:D
