I would just ban instead of typing back a sentence that also contains the word. You can end up with a ban even if your intention wasn't to further the convo.
I’ve definitely told clients I’m not a therapist and can’t continue with that line of conversation. I have my own mental health issues and find it both unhealthy and unethical for me to engage in that kind of convo, but I will send them a list of free/low cost mental health resources if I can do so in a way that doesn’t break TOS where it happens.
It’s really unfair and manipulative for clients to ask this type of support from sexworkers who are not trained to help them or to minimize the effect on our own lives of handling others’ mental health challenges. Also most of us aren’t paid enough for that work.

I have banned people for this, like if it's a long time regular and it's once in a blue moon then I tend to be more like "let's cheer you up" but when it's consecutive days or they havnt already established it's not a normal part of your personality it's an instant ban if they are doing it in public chat.
