@MarieElise @Vixxen81 The scenario described in the post you just quoted requires a model to know which other models a viewer spends on. That is precisely the data visibility question this thread started with.

If models cannot see cross-model transactions, the jealousy narrative does not hold. If they can, the screenshot @juju_in_hell mentioned should be straightforward to provide. One of these is true. Both cannot be.

Ad hominem arguments about what a viewer supposedly feels or wants are entirely out of place here. The original question was about data architecture and what information is visible to whom on the platform. That question has not been answered by anyone in this thread.

We also now know that a tool like @cbhours taps three separate API endpoints from a single platform to compile its data. Which raises a straightforward question: if third-party tools can pull that volume of data directly from platform APIs, what exactly is being exposed, and to whom? That is a data confidentiality question. Not the kind of strawman arguments that are being constructed and uncritically repeated here.
This post is truly the challenging wanker's challenging wank.

@misterical That might actually be accurate. Ever since I came across StripHours and similar tools right here in this very forum, the number of suspension appeals and unban requests in the SC subforum has been catching up to CB levels quite noticeably. Funny how that works. Lol
I'm going to assume this means what I think it means. Imagine being proud of sticking your nose into things that don't affect you and don't cost you any money yet somehow thinking it's okay to wipe out the livelihood of someone who might be relying on that income to feed their family. In an environment rich with tragic bastards, you might be the most tragic of them all.

No not qed at all. I attempted to go through your 41 posts here to see why you have such a bee in your bonnet and I fell asleep half way through the 2nd one. That sounds like an exaggeration I would say to be funny, and entertaining, but it's actually the literal truth.

I don't see why it matters what me and vixens opinions on the motivational behind this are, unless ... they're true and it's making you sensitive 🤷‍♀️ Suspicious.

But yeah I have no clue why you're so rattled and emo, or who is right. Just an opinion. I don't have time to read your 41 posts to try to figure out what you original point/ points were. Sorry 🤷‍♀️ I work.

Pro luppitor! Edepol! Mallum! Mr fucking fancy pants :pompous: If this isn't your job, why the hell does all this even matter?

The derision towards me is especially interesting. Should I apologize for being right? No, I don't think so.

I just want to point out that a couple things you say are half-truths, if not completely incorrect (on purpose or not).

The original question was about data architecture and what information is visible to whom on the platform. That question has not been answered by anyone in this thread.
To clarify, the original post was about data visibility and then you steered towards data accessibility too--at no point have we discussed data architecture. Both concerns have been addressed.

stormythunder accurately answered the first post.
We can see everything you've spent on us on the website, but we can't see what you spend with other models.

As for the rest, you received input too. Enough even to answer this.
Which raises a straightforward question: if third-party tools can pull that volume of data directly from platform APIs, what exactly is being exposed, and to whom?
I'll summarise for the sake of the thread, all information available in threads you've participated in:
Room status, number of viewers, etc. are highly accurate on stats sites--already confirmed that you can get those via API. Tipping stats and chat log we know are limited to what happens in public and are imprecise--the latter suggests they're using other means to get the data, e.g. scraping bots. It's unclear exactly how much data is being recorded but it's fair to say that at least some of any interactions (tips and messages) are being recorded. All that data is public so technically it is exposed to everyone--the people that know how to gather the information usually expose it to whoever is willing to bypass their paywall.

It was exactly one instance, and it concerned a zero tolerance violation, the same category of violations you yourself documented and cited in detail in this very forum not so long ago.
False, as you noted yourself before, at least 2.
"The two cases here were both what I'd call absolute zero tolerance violations..."

And if you're to be believed then many more.

@Vixxen81 Once again completely off topic. Lol

Of course you're entitled to your actions and your reasons, just as much as people are entitled to their opinions about them. Yet I'd say that you're getting something out of it or want to get something other than just acting for the greater good (which doesn't necessarily always align with the rules). The fact that you're willing to go that extra mile to "expose" a violation and later to try to enforce a sanction strikes me as an odd and disproportionate amount of effort to invest in a porn site which I'd say could raise valid questions about motivation.

We tap the same API from three different servers for accuracy.

There is nothing about tips in the API, if a site is getting tip information it's from scraping the site not from the API. The only information that really shouldn't be in the API in my opinion is the blocked regions and I posted about that on this very forum before they even switched to that newer API. There was plenty of opportunity for everyone to jump in and try to fight the change but only a few people saw it as an issue.

Kind of off topic, but he's gone now anyway. I've caught myself wondering before if it's a dominance thing. How so many guys come here and challenge you? Idk, just a theory. I mean, you're accepted, you know what you're talking about, you're confident. Some types of men can't handle that. Totally just a theory though. I know a lot of them challenge me because they don't like my language, which is purely just a working-class thing. But I know it's something that often rubs Boomers the wrong way. Kinda rubs me the wrong way that people take something so non serious (in my mind) so seriously though.

Let’s all talk Latin to try to flummox models and show how intelligent I am 😂

The guy was a douche - and pointedly didn’t react to many other, obviously male members’ comments when they called him out.

Good point. I know I'm not a sugar-coater by any sense of the word but it just seems odd to me that the pushback is kind of "haha you're just a dumb cam model, you don't know anything." I mean I guess I can shoot back with "you're just a dumb cam viewer, you don't know anything."

and @Maxi is right, they never push back on the guys like this. Just those models on here who are confident about what they know. It's a really weird form of negging, I think. But yeah he's gone so there's that. :)

And thank you for the kind words. <3
