Chaturbate Updates!​

Chaturbate is rolling out some exciting updates for our creator community.

It can take a moment to translate when enabled but it does work - a button on the right shows (a little icon) which you can click to show original, so you switch between it. I saw it yesterday when some moderator was speaking russian to a model, and it definitely worked. It may have been because the room had a lot going on (60,000 users + lots of bots/apps too) and thats why it took a little while to load the translation, but otherwise it was useful to have for sure

Haven't tried it yet, but interested to see if the translation also converts things like tip menus and other notifiers, or if it's only for text entered by users.

I want a translator that acts as a disney filter like in that episode of rick and morty. Someone comes in and starts saying a bunch of crazy shit and all I see in the chat is "Hi beautiful, I hope you are having a wonderful day!"

Maybe they could do similar to what forums have for censored words, so when someone types something, it censors and changes it to whatever you told it to, that could be a good alternative lol

I have one of those. I assure you it did not go over well at all. People were actually like "stop doing that". I may run it again at some point.

Banning someone removes them from your follower count. Silencing them does not.

I'm aware of that. Banning also removes any thumbs up or thumbs down that person has given you in the last 90 days. I'm just saying that the idea of an extremely short ban is weird, and the idea of an extremely long silence is weird.

The hell it does. I banned every person who gave me a down vote. It's not hard for me to figure out and nothing changed on my numbers.

Is anyone else having an issue with apps not starting/updating today? It just started for me. No apps are responding to anything I do, even when I tried accessing the page from my phone :/
