My last cat (I had him for 19 years) used to sit with me every morning while I drank my coffee.I’d be cool with having my morning coffee surrounded by cats, but I fear I’d easily miss my next appointment if I made a habit of it
Not only out of companionship though, he had a taste for coffee, and was constantly trying to push his nose into my cup.
I had to remember to remind any guests to not leave coffee unattended, but he was such an opportunist and never stopped trying - at least brown whiskers always gave him away when he'd been successful
