Hi,
I am new to this whole camming thing so bear with me. I read that a lot of models advertise on twitter. One can even link their manyvids account to their twitter. I read the twitter rules and it said that some adult content is permitted if it is posted with a warning. I see a lot of people advertising on twitter and even posting very graphic pornographic thumbnails and links to their content and things like that.

Today, I posted a tweet introducing myself and advertising my camming page. All it said was "Hey, I'm so and so. This is my username on such and such site. Follow me for some xxx content" and attached was a fully clothed picture. There was absolutely nothing pornographic about it.

A half hour or so later I received a notice that I had been locked out of my account for posting "sensitive material." I was asked to verify my phone number. The odd thing is, I didn't even include my phone number when I signed up for twitter. After entering my phone number, I regained access to my account.

I find what happened very odd. I know you only get so many strikes before your twitter account is terminated and you are banned. Seeing as I did not do anything wrong, I would like to possibly clarify this with support if necessary.

I'm still new to this whole thing, but tbh it suprised me that such content is even allowed on twitter! None the less plenty of people are doing it, so I don't see how anything I did was wrong.

What is also odd, is that I am unable to edit my sensitive content settings on my profile-The page where you can choose whether or not you wish to see sensitive material. Apparently my sensitive content filter is on but I see no way to change it! It's like that part of my settings simply isn't there. It is very odd. It is almost as if I have been shadow banned.

Anyway, I'm not tryna get my account suspended from twitter so any information helps. Thanks.

You need to mark your media as sensitive. (Edit: sorry I missed the last part of your post, but so long as your settings look like this you should be fine now. )

Thanks for the tip. I have now set all of my content to sensitive. But as far as being able to view other's sensitive material, I simply can't find those options in my settings. The screen shot you took-My account looks nothing like that when I go into settings.

Are you using the mobile version or the actual web page? On my phone, I can't find the setting either, but the screenshot I took is on the web.

I have my accounts set to show sensitive content and I still constantly have to tap on photos to see them.

Start over and throw the entire account a way! You've been internally flagged by Twitter.

There are several degrees to this process and it appears that you've been caught up in the most recent sweep on the platform. Its confusing because not every one is flagged or shadowbanned in the same way. I would suggest creating a new account via desktop with a new email address and if you have to, use a google voice number. Never use mobile to sign up on a social media site. Always use desktop. And then make sure you aren't just tweeting sexy links with xxx hashtags.

NewI didn't know the shadow ban was actually real! lol When you say "And then make sure you aren't just tweeting sexy links with xxx hashtags." Do you mean to post other types of content as well to mix it up? Can I still post the xxx stuff? Or did you mean to do away with the hashtags all together?

I was able to finally update my account to where I can see sensitive content, by doing it on a desk top.

Maybe I was shadow banned because I looked at my analytics and it didn't seem to really add up.
