hi im jessi_castro on mfc and ive posted here a couple of times but i wanted to take a moment to discuss my camscore and the struggles ive had with it since ive been a mfc model..i started working avidly as a cam model since the beginning of summer and at first im gonna keep it real i didnt understand anything. tokens,pms, lighting, tactics,games,etc. i just thought i could make bank. i signed up january 2012 but i didnt ever broadcast until summer when i became friends with someone who is a MFC model and i saw how much $uccess she had on mfc. I was only working with SM at the time and i had never seen a paycheck more than 200$ well, i took a chance and gave mfc a shot well, i didnt know what camscore was until about a month ago i thought my lack of traffic was because i was new. when i found out what camscore was i was mind boggled. Mine was under 500! i couldnt believe it. ive tried everything and now im thinking i should start over and change my name. i get offline tips,im personable in my room ive even done WILD shows in pubic to attract attention. every week i stay positive and my money earned is higher and higher. My first MFC paycheck was 29$ and in 6 weeks i was at $680.im hoping to do even better but i have to admit its very discouraging when im knocked to the last page or whatever the case may be because of camscore. i work everyday. im now coming up with games and created a jessis vip member campaign. you guys i literally only have 9 people in my room if im lucky often im in there with 1 or 2 people and alot of the time no one will speak. im greeting everyone and they just run out? i dont understand. i did see a very well response from taking them out on adventures and i have been in most popular rooms on the second page...but i can only do that when im with my friend since she has mobile hotspots :/

Hi. I'm pretty much gonna say the same thing I posted in your other thread. Since you're a verified model on here, you can also join us in the Models Only section of the forum, where there are lots of great threads about all of these issues you're concerned about.

Don't forget to add the URL to your MFC profile to your forum signature on here, as well as the URL to your Twitter profile. And be sure to post on Twitter every time you get on cam, so everyone who's following you on Twitter knows exactly when you're on cam.

All very good advice, I think. Now I am going to be a bit of a prick. I love pink, but if your profile has any amount of text in the same colour as the Original Post above or anything like it, undo it. Colourful is nice and pretty and all, but not at the expense of someone having to struggle even a little to read through it. I wish you luck and I will add you at MFC, and try to visit you soon.

I think this is a problem that can happen to a lot of girls. But, being pretty and naked on cam doesn't necessarily mean a girl will make money as a cam girl. Especially on sites like MFC, where a model's placement on the homepage is done by camscore and the fact that there can literally be over 1000 models on at one time.

Contrary to the popular thought among guys and girls, there is work that needs to be done to make money as a cam girl.

Also, one of the biggest mistakes models can make when they start out is staying online for too long when they aren't making any money. Obviously the hope is that they'll make the money if they stay on longer, but with the way camscore is calculated, staying online for hours on end and only making a little bit will cannibalize that camscore very quickly. I saw a girl who on her first day dropped over 200 camscore because she stayed online for like 10 hours.

As others have said, though, Jessi has an advantage. She has done what appears to be quite a bit of amateur porn. Be sure to let that be known on your profile, and it might help members to get others to notice you. There's a lot of guys out there who would like to be able to say they talk to a porn star pretty regularly. :lol:

Before you think about doing something like this consider that the main focus should be on building regulars. If you build up a group of regulars this way, it's going to be hard to get away from it. Those members are going to expect you to continue giving away the farm.

I have always switched up my shows. Expect the unexpected in my room (price wise, I do have set game days). Some days I decide my boobs are worth 300tkns, others 600. The great thing with countdowns is that unless the guy is on right when you set the topic, they don't know what it started at. So one day it's at 345, the next it's at 600, the next it's free. If I were a guy, I'd assume she always started at 600 and I arrived to the party late. Many models raise their prices when they get more people. The people that leave because of it, are replaced with the new ones who don't know differently.

Hey, everyone has different styles I just want to tell you that Evvie on here is the one who helped me the most. I only started camming in March 2012 and last month I finished #8 on the miss myfreecams contest after getting some advice from evvie. I promise I struggled to an extent the first few months, then a talk from Evvie told me to watch the top girls and learn how they do what they do and I couldn't believe it the last 2 months I was #21 and #8, evvie was a total life saver thats all I can say. Most importantly DO NOT STRESS, you just have to put in more and more hours and it will eventually come around I promise.

Hello ladies! Welcome to the forum! Here are instructions on how to be upgraded to model status. I do approvals in batches a couple times a week (currently I do a batch Tuesday and Friday) so your patience is appreciated. Please keep in mind that being part of the ACF model group is a privilege, not a right. If I feel you're being rude or sketchy, I reserve the right to deny your access or remove it at any time.

Please note: I expect all girls who get model status to make at least 1 post within their first few weeks here, and to continue to post periodically. Girls who still have 0 posts after a few weeks/a month after signing up, or become inactive will likely be moved back to "registered user" status.

MFC models:
1. Create a username for the forum if you haven't already. Using your MFC model name is the best idea, as it will make you easier to recognize and find. If you're signing up under a different name than what shows up on your MFC mail, please state it in the message. By default, I just copy/paste your model name from the MFC mail into the group administration window, so if they don't match, your approval will be delayed. It's up to you to follow up with me if you think this is the case. If your MFC mail shows "unread" by me, then I just haven't gotten to you yet.

2. Send an MFC mail from your MODEL account to mine (AmberCutie). IF YOU HAVE A NEW MFC ACCOUNT OR BRAND NEW PROFILE WITH LITTLE TO NO ACTIVITY/PICTURES, OR HAVE CALIFORNIA BLOCKED, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS ADDITIONAL MODEL VERIFICATION AT THE SAME TIME YOU MAIL ME. If there is little to no activity on your profile, I can't verify you.

3. I will approve you as soon as I can. You will receive an informative PM from me (here on the forum), your name will be purple, and you will be able to enter the Models Only section once I've upgraded you. Please remember to thoroughly read the PM I send you.
