80's Era Cartoon Fans?

I always watched the smurfs. I hated the stupid Ninja Turtles! GAAA! I didn't really like any of the 'new' cartoons of those days--thundercats, transformers, all that jazz just bored me. I did watch Jem, and the Flinstones! Oh and The Muppet Babies.

Mostly though I was into soap operas and threes company and horror movies when I was a child of the 80's...and the Brady Bunch!

If it bored you you're just dumb if you think garbage of today like Spongebob or Pokemon are better.

I can't stand SpongeBob, which I'm sure got their 'gross humor' ideas from Ren and Stimpy.

Ditto on the spongebob. He is SUPER ANNOYINg...gaaa! and POKEMAN, no thank you. I never got into that whole Japanamation kick and I have never liked the 'gross humor' stuff...well, except for the Garbage Pail Kids. And I LOVED Schoolhouse Rock snippets!

And sheesh, Mr. tampon guy, why so angry? I think you just need some love in your life...but I will try harder to love the ninja turtles if it will make you feel better. And THree's Company reruns played for YEARS every night before the prime time shows started up...I think I have seen every episode. :mrgreen:

The first time I ever got stoned was during an episode of Ren and Stimpy when they were 'lost in space'....TOTALLY FREAKY MAN! I have never been the same... :-D

I love creepy "Is this a kids cartoon?!" type of cartoons though, Regular Show and Adventure time are that right now. Adventure time gets away with so much it's hilarious.
