Hello everyone. I was wondering what you cam girls, or guys, thought about maybe selling personalized erotic stories to your clients? My girlfriend and I, and our staff of three other writers, have been writing personalized erotica for clients for about three years now. It started out pretty slow, but in the past six months has been really picking up (which is why we added the three other girls). We have a lot of repeat business, but we don't really have a following like a cam personality would. I was talking to a cam girl the other day who is vacationing here, and when we told her what we do she mentioned that she could pretty much get some of her followers to buy anything she suggested. I know our clients love these personalized stories, and if these stories starred their favorite webcam girl\guy, doing things with her\him that they've fantasized about, I'm betting the repeat business would be huge. We're going to start with this one girl, but I would love to keep my writers busier than that.

So, if anyone would like to offer their clients personalized erotica, please feel free to contact me. We usually sell 500 word +\- stories for $10-15 each depending on the material they want (more if they demand the copyright) . We will write pretty much anything, except for kid\animal (we do get requests though which is why I mention it). We're very discreet, and would never ask you for; personal info, to skype, pics, videos, or anything like that. Purely a business transaction. You would never have to do any of the work, other than to promote on your webcam page, or twitter, that you offer the service. You just let us know what your client wants, we'll do the rest. You paypal us our $10-15, and sell the story for whatever you like.

If you're interested you can message me here for samples or any other questions. We do any and all kind of writing, so if you have other ideas, let me know.

You paypal us
No comment on the rest of your proposal, but you may want to rethink this part. Paypal is not an adult-friendly payment processor. You risk your and the model's accounts being frozen and funds being held.

Shit, thanks. I've been using it for a while now without knowing that. Maybe I better transfer some stuff around. Do you guys use a better, similar, service?

Thanks for the heads up.

Check out Payoneer, Bitcoin, Paxum, or CCbill.com

Just curious, Why would I contact you to bring my followers to pay for a service I can provide myself? If I got a request to write erotica I would take payment direct and cut out a middle man that there's no need for. I love the idea of a site for girls to write erotica and have it sold but if your not providing traffic then what is the benefit for me? I'm providing the client and given an idea of what he wants I can write my own erotica and sell it to him direct and get paid 100 percent.

I see some value in this. Creative writing might not be everyone's forte and you can sell it for however much you like. I imagine you could also resell it pretty easily too by doing a word search and replace for different names of clients.

It's cool that you can write your own stories but I can understand how others would rather outsource it.

I agree, if you can, and want to, write the erotica go for it. There's no need for my services if you can do that on your own. Not everyone wants to though. This is more for the person who would just rather sell the erotica without having to do the work writing it.

First, it's really cool that you admitted that you just didn't know any better, and are willing to take suggestions. So good on you for that. :)

As for suggestions, I would say check out squarecash or circlepay. With square or circle, you can send p2p payments pretty easily if you don't have tons and tons of payments going on. It may be a bit hard to keep track of everything after a certain point as your business grows, but it could work out great if you are just picking up steam. I know many cam performers already use these methods, as they keep all information on both ends private, or rather, only disclose the name you set up on your account, in place of any personal details.

Payoneer is a bit more challenging, because if I am understanding correctly, you wish to have performers send you the payments - not the other way around. And I don't think they allow private loads and payments for most/any users anymore, whereas if you were setting up an account to pay OUT of, it could be used the way that cam sites do mass payouts with this method. So I'm not sure that is a good option for you. Can't speak for how paxum works, but I do think it is likely to be similar.

I am not sure about ccbill, beyond the fact that I know they have account types that are adult-friendly. They will of course charge you a service fee for each transaction, as well as a monthly fee for using their service, I imagine. I think it is their "blue" account type that okays adult transactions and allows you to accept all types of payments. However, this will require a large amount of trust in you from the performers you work with, as they would be required to input their payment information each time to send a payment, rather than simply creating the payment from say a square or circle account. Not that I think ccbill discloses these details to you, the merchant, but I would be skeptical about using it to send a payment on a site that I am not too familiar with, for various security reasons that go along with typing your payment account information into a form on a new/unknown business's site. (I am not saying this to call you untrustworthy, just putting it out there as a consideration. Of course protecting the security of everyone's information on both sides is always a top concern.)

I guess it all depends on the size of your business and what you think will work best for what you are doing! But I hope this was somehow helpful.

idk if you know about this, and i am not too sure about how this works here, but have you tried also looking at gonewildaudio? tons of scripts there and also people providing scripts. if either writers/models are interested, this is a cool place to check out :)

Square Cash is a part of Square Inc, which bans adult content. https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5089-prohibited-goods-and-services

Thanks for all of that info Mollie. Here's what I've done so far. I signed up for Payoneer, but that may not work. It only allows me to bill in Euros. When I contacted customer service they said;

As you are a United Sates resident, we cannot provide you with U.S. payment service details.

The U.S. payment service details we provide are provided for users who are not U.S. residents and do not have U.S. bank accounts.

This service provides Payoneer account holders with a US account/routing number, which can only be used to receive funds via US ACH/Direct Deposit. All payments received are then loaded directly to the associated Payoneer account.
Kind of bizarre, but oh well. It is a pretty cool service if you need a US bank account and routing number though, as I'm sure there are a lot of cam girls outside of the US. I did sign up for squarecash which was pretty straight forward, and seems like it will work. I also signed up for googlewallet, but didn't really look into whether or not they allow adult oriented payments.

This whole paypal thing kind of pisses me off. Fuck them for even caring about how I earn a legal dollar. All they need to do is take their cut, and transfer my money. Not worry about how the money was made as long as it's legal.

I also signed up for googlewallet, but didn't really look into whether or not they allow adult oriented payments.

They didn't care initially, but have since changed their ToS and have closed some sex worker accounts. Many people still use them, accepting the risk.

Giftrocket, from what I hear, allows adult transactions, but charges a higher percentage if they know that you are using them as such.

Figured this list could be of use here.

Payoneer [x] This company gave me a lot of hassle when I tried to get an exact answer out of them about what is allowed by the company or even a list of approved sites that they work with. Apparently you’re okay if you’re using one of their approved sites but DO NOT USE THE PAYONEER CARD FOR PRIVATE LOADING.

Quoted: "We provide payment options for people in the adult industry but they need to sign up through one of our partner companies in order to use Payoneer as a payment solution [like] LiveJasmin, Myfreecams and other similar sites.

Redpass [x] This company touts themselves as “The ultimate payroll solution for the adult entertainment industry.” Sex worker friendly!

Snapcash [x] All payments sent through Snapcash are processed by Square, and Square didn’t make the list last time because they “…will not accept payments in connection with… Adult entertainment oriented products or services (in any medium, including internet, telephone or printed material)” and is not an approved sex work payment method.“ Do not use.

WooCommerce is an open source platform that can be used how the site admin would like to see it implemented - even if on the more adult spectrum. :) That said, the issue you may run into is your payment gateway. After chatting with my coworkers, it appears as though USA ePay is on the more "liberal” spectrum and you may want to look into adding them to your store.“ Sex worker friendly!

Circle [x] - Says no pornographic material in their TOS. Do not use.

Eway[x] - Nothing was found in their TOS and during a chat with a customer service rep, they said “There is no official stance on using [eWay] for processing legal sex work. The part about Green Dot isn't accurate anymore. Green Dot cards can no longer be used for business purposes of any kind. I've also heard about guys using them to buy tokens on MFC. Also, Venmo has since become a subsidiary of PayPal and now officially bans adult content.

Redpass [x] This company touts themselves as “The ultimate payroll solution for the adult entertainment industry.” Sex worker friendly!

Redpass is, regrettably, no longer in existence. Too bad, because they accepted payments globally.

Please tell me if I am really naive for asking this, but do you think that paypal or any other service, would have issues with selling erotica simply because it is a transaction with a sex worker, even if there is no porn or sex work being bought/sold? Erotica is not sex work exactly, not even porn technically. So seems like selling erotica stories wouldn't be a problem unless Paypal is discriminating against people who are SW no matter what the actual thing is that is being bought.

I'm curious about this because I have an idea for an art project that involves pretty sexy imagery and I'm wondering if I could get into trouble if I use a service like Paypal for selling the work, even if I wasn't usng it for selling porn. I haven't read any ToS so I'm totally clueless about this at the moment.

@Ms_Diane pp has shut down model accounts before they were ever even used. They've banned family members of models. If they think there's a hint of a possibility you're using it for anything remotely considered adult, you'll probably get banned and your money stolen.

Wowzers! Thank you for explaining!

Major thumbs down and lots of middle fingers for Paypal.

Does the art involve photos?

1. This is off-topic. If you want to discuss PP's business practices, another thread would be better suited to doing so.
2. The source comes from a thread in Models Only.

On topic, I think this is a cool thing to offer! I'm not a great writer, so if I ever have someone interested I'll definitely send you a message.

This is a great idea, GhostWriter! I also want to say that you should use another payment processor as well. This is perfect for cam models on the go.:cat:
