Color me crazy but I love snow storms like that. :dance:

Hope everyone keeps an eye on their roofs too... that much snow can collapse a roof easily if it's not removed.

Holy crap! Here I was complaining about how cold it had gotten in my room in CA . I was also pondering traveling to NY in January...maybe I'll stay home. I do not miss having to clean up that snow. I wish everyone luck! Stay safe!

Not sure where in NY you were planning on traveling to---but the city has been unaffected...not even a flake of snow. And generally speaking becouse of the sheer amount of traffic both car and foot---snow just doesn't stick.

I feel sorry for all those people who don't take emergency preparedness seriously and stock extra food and water. I hate to think about all the families with dwindling food supplies because they always assume the grocery store will be open. Hope they are okay

Yep, no snow in the city yet!! Ice on the sidewalks, but no snow. It was cold as hell yesterday though and I did not enjoy walking around in it. brrrrr
